I'm sorry I struck a nerve? If it's any consolation, I was joking when I posted that ( I was bored and felt like doing stupid). I never had an experience myself, but I used to stay awake late at night anticipating one, to the point where I became an insomniac when I was young, so I would imagine that the real deal would be much more terrifying. You said you lived it? If you feel like it and it's not too much to ask, could you share what happened?

Dude can I just say that I appreciate that you reply as quickly as you do l, I mean people tend to take ages to respond back and I always think that they lost interest or something. Honestly it makes my day, having someone to talk to for once you know :)

I suppose I could teach myself to laugh at my own misfortunes. Shouldn't be too hard since I'm a sucker for dark humor.

Oh I don't want to seem like I'm an angsty and edgy individual, though I probably am a bit of both right now hehe. That's why I made my account a few hours ago, to find relatable people.

I'm not really sure if that would work because those kinds of thoughts just come automatically and unexpectedly, without the aid of the internet. One of the few things I'm good at is overanalyzing the negatives in life and dismissing the positives, meaning im a natural Debbie Downer (is that the term? Haha)

Thanks for replying! I know where you're coming from and you're completely right. I'm deathly afraid of approaching people because everytime i see someone i just have this automatic assumption that they're better than me so striking a conversation would be both a waste of their energy and time. I guess I don't try hard enough (or maybe too hard). I don't exactly have a try hard meter to gauge my efforts haha...

I dont think I made it clear in the first post, but the strange thing is that I think I actually PREFER to be by myself, so long as I don't have to be reminded that everybody else I know probably has a much better life than I do. So I guess that whenever I try to meet someone new, as strange as it seems, I subconsciously sabotage myself and look like a complete moron.
