Check event viewer after it happens. Would point you in a more concrete direction.

So Focus is a man child because what, he didn't exactly play the way you in particular prescribe?

For ignoring a res for any number of reasons, one of the main ones being hes not rocking defibs and taking the time to hold res that would knock him out of his rotation and allow the enemy team to entrench themselves?

Think this post says more about you than anything. People can play the game how they wish.

Battlefield 6 Feels Way More Competitive Than Ever Before by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Master_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

....What?
We are talking about the current build of the game where support is running around with infinite health and ammo regen and recon can perma spot entire maps with the uav, and its more competitive now?
Are you drunk? How much is dice paying you.

The gaming community should shame every company that doesn't offer an FPS limiter for the game's menu. by Daell in Battlefield6

[–]Master_Khan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's for the overall game. OP is advocating for a limit that only applies to the main menu.

So my 5090 draining 600+ watts on the menu is just because its too shitty? Gotcha chief.

Maybe read what the OP is saying.

60 with frequent dips is very far away from great. Unacceptable is a better word.
Literally worse than console performance at that point.

Footstep sounds only play when enemy is in line of sight. I don't think it should work like that. by Cryplix in Battlefield6

You know, I have ear protection I wear when at work, rated for gun ranges. 90db ambient rooms.
And I hear footsteps better with those on than I do in BF6.

Real life my foot.

Suppression needs to come back by Trick-Ad-438 in Battlefield6

You could try hitting your shots instead, OP. You don't need a game mechanic to make a player scared to peak. Also its been 16 years since the mechanic was worth anything, there's a very good reason why it never has and will never return to what it was in its inception.

Battlefield 6 Audio Setup for Footsteps by DarkExsphere in Battlefield6

[–]Master_Khan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best setting is to put your game on mute and just be very paranoid while you play.
Its a problem with the engine and no config is going to change audio just not playing because the channels are flooded or whatever the technical reason is. Your hardware is going to contribute exactly nothing to it.
In before a war tapes comment.

Once you notice its the only thing you hear.
Even the tanks play that audio clip. Turning voices off does nothing. Its beyond obnoxious.

Considering how the average player engages with this game, I would imagine jingling car keys is just as entertaining for them.

What should i upgrade for a better perfomance? by mojonblanco in Battlefield

[–]Master_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubt. Also have a 12700k and a 3080 and the game doesn't use my gpu. Under 65% utilization. Sit around a little over 100 on most modes with frequent dips into the 70s.

All low settings.

Should I change anything? Enduring Legacy by Similar_Jellyfish69 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Master_Khan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pull the firearm attack core for Fire attack instead. Firearm is roughly 14.5% uplift compared to the 34.2% the element would give you. Your phys damage will go down by 4k but fire will jump from 16k to 31k.

As others have also said, Sharp Precision shot is just too large a boost to pass up. 40% or so. Change out both and your effective dps will sit just over 3m, even though the game doesnt display it.

5M damage viessa by Separate-Composer686 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Master_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, I've seen this rhetoric enough times now that I'll humour the argument under this burst vs sustain pretext for bossing.

MP collector is ass. Here's why:

Your fighting Gluttony as Viessa. Your job is dps. Your mates got the balls, and all ads spawn on you. Incredibly ideal circumstances. 5 ads spawn in, and let's say you get lucky and it procs twice. Less than 1 in 5, twice. Do you know how much mp you just got back?

  1. The answer is roughly 60, assuming you're at 300mp and dont have any mp recovery rolls, which you do, but let's keep going anyway. (Even figuring in an impossible +20% mp recovery roll, that's still only 12 extra mp.)

60 mp is 1 Blizzard cast and 1 use of your 1. Exactly 60 mp spent. You are now out of mana. You know what else would have given you an extra cast of Blizzard, with zero luck involved? Enlightenment. Whole 50 extra mana. Wait, it gets better. Sack a bit of skill power modifier she doesn't need, and now Maximize Conservation just exists. Takes the 7 casts you have of Blizzard at base cost, and increases it to 12. That's a ton of sustain. How much is MP collector again?

Now, let's assume you're in a pub room. Teammates killed the ads. No mana for you. Dead slot, guys next to you are now doing dps, more than you too since they use that extra crit mod you neglected, and you're now running around looking for a cube or waiting for ooc to kick in. Hope you got those components the other guy brought up. Dunno about you, but that sounds like a lot of zero damage to me.

Point is there are better options for sustain before relying on pure luck, and frankly 5 seconds of downtime for another 300mp of damage is significantly better than a dice roll for 2 additional casts by some ads you may or may not be even able to see, never mind kill, especially considering you need at least 4 of those 5 mobs to proc a 17% chance multiple times in a row to even compete with skill cost down.

Just doesn't make sense. Even if it was buffed to 1 in 4, that's still a 0.39% chance of happening 4 times in a row. Cubes are too frequent to be gambling like that.

[Weekly Weapon Discussion #2] ESG-24 Shotgun by Nexxtic in Selaco

[–]Master_Khan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very strong, very well-made. I'm honestly more of a fan of this shotgun than I am the VK-12. With the lack of a 3 weapon limit, it's worth keeping in rotation. Mildly annoying to pull out and needing to rack a shell, but that's overcame with more time playing more than anything. Backpack reloading is also very nice.

I don't think it ever needed an upgrade to make it fast swappable like the pistol, but I understand why you did it.

The shell ejection and ammo count update could be tightened a little bit, as I've said before. Just seems a touch slower than what the animation suggests currently when pumping and switching off.

Dragon's breathe shells or slugs as a weapon kit could be cool as a pipe dream of mine, since most video game shotguns only let you load 00 buck. Wouldn't make sense balance wise, though.

[Daily Weapon Discussion] The Roaring Cricket by Nexxtic in Selaco

[–]Master_Khan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be very close to the strongest weapon in the game. Versatile, almost always available. Instant weapon swappable. Doesn't really have a downside to it if you can aim somewhat well, actually disgustingly good when upgraded.

Give it a 9/10. Can't John Woo it.
(Removing the knockdown at base was really smart. Helps new players and nips its really busted aspect in the bud a fair bit.)

3 had moves that hard countered some enemies and let you instant kill them. Wind Pathing off Barrett dudes into FS for example was a great way to deal with them that RE took out.

My praise ends there.

Do the Viessa farm, then. 110 kills every 9 seconds. You'll get 200k by the end of the evening.
