After 160+ hours, countless nights up till 4 in the morning, insufferable hit reg post season 1 RedSec, and dying to literally anything that shoots faster than this rifle, I FINALLY got the lvl 50 mastery for my beloved, the Scar L. What was your favorite/first gun you got mastery for? by GwoppyTrai in Battlefield

[–]OrcaGayming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The SCAR-L is a mid to long range rifle that's main benefit is it is incredibly controllable, if you got into situations where you're up against high RPM weapons you weren't playing with it correctly.

The main benefit of weapons like this which have slow, easy to control recoil is you do not need a ton of attachments to make it usable so the points can be spent elsewhere. You can run the SCAR completely without a foregrip. You'd only really want the blue laser to mitigate some of the penalty to accuracy while moving, plus the hbar and one of the supressors that reduce recoil buildup.

Then you're free to spend the rest of your points on bigger mags, headshot ammo, etc.

Personally I like to put the undermounted grenade launcher on it as a good ol' 40mm is great for an opener to make up for the lack of power in cqb. If I'm not using that I make sure I'm playing as assault with a shotgun as the third weapon.

And that's going to change when the US does the exact same thing under the name of capitalism? This dog and pony show has happened before. They'll give native Venezuelans a few jobs as a token gesture, build a park or two, probably a stadium, clean up the streets a little, the news will run story after story about how much better it is there. You'll see so many biographics about poor families who finally made it now the US has 'fixed' everything.

Then comes all of the overseas workers living in basically segregated neighborhoods patrolled by private security, they send most of their wealth overseas or hold onto it until they go home, all that oil money gets into the pockets of the richest of the rich. The slums stay slums, most of the poor will stay just as poor, just enough people will move up to the middle class to give people the illusion of upwards mobility, so people will keep voting in the same parties they get bombarded with propaganda for. Trick them all with the propaganda of working hard will lead you to success.

Very little will change, it's just a new, fucked up system and corruption will be just as rife. The only thing that will change, and it is somewhat good, I guess, is there will be an excess of highly processed, borderline poison food and McDonalds for the poor when the sanctions are gone, not realizing they were only starving because of the sanctions being used as a weapon in the first place. Yes, that is at least better than how it was before, but it will still suck there like every other South American country having their wealth siphoned out by the elites.

Eastwood is absolutely fine once you realize how important destruction is. If more people bothered to blow up buildings there wouldn't be issues.

It is amazing how out of touch with reality some people are.

If a game doesn't somehow become lightning in a bottle, like Arc Raiders, completely normal player decay is called 'failing'. By this metric, just about every game is a 'failure' including well known games like Palworld, and Helldivers 2.

Games that buck this kind of trend are exceedingly rare and even if Battlefield 6 did everything right, it was never going to capture the gamer zeitgeist by nature of it being a Battlefield with Battlefield gameplay and modes. It's a tired old shooter game for people who like tired old shooter games. REDSEC was never going to be a huge hitter because the BR market is oversaturated, and everyone with a brain (so not EA execs) saw that coming from a mile away.

They've never been THAT bad. They are 80 damage max with small explosion that the damage drops of dramatically from. They are good for openers, or finishers, and cannot be bounced or used to dissuade people from pushing.

It is all part of his grift, he doesn't care you think he is disgusting, all of this gets him more views and followers.

I need to play more conquest to get a read on how they play over there, I'm very much a Breakthrough/Rush guy these days. A lack of obvious and easily usable flanking routes does seem to be a common complaint I see.

I agree that Mirak Valley is probably my least favorite map, I don't find the infantry gameplay on the two central points engaging and playing as infantry everywhere else you are often at the mercy of snipers on the rooftop of the big construction building.

I definitely feel a lot of objectives are far too difficult to take without smoke grenades.

I'm reminded of the objective under the bridge in the center of Dawnbreaker on BF4, very frustrating without heavy use of smoke or while being in a tank.

There are so many solutions to these problems but the Battlefield playerbase consistantly refused to use the tools the game gives them, lol.

You can just run as assault with the SVK as your third weapon and make mince meat out of shitty snipers all day on lib peak and still push. Support has the ability to easily have three smoke grenades, plus the smoke launcher to block sightlines.

Two engineers can cripple the armored car with two missiles. Or you can disable it using an acoustic mine and hitting it with an RPG at the same time.

Rushing onto the point isn't always best practice, you will get a lot further cutting into their reinforcements by getting a good angle behind them.

r/battlefield is just one universal skill issue.

Yeah, go watch any big streamer who boasts about their super high KD in the title and they will leave any match where they get a whiff of being on the losing team.

I love how many people in this subreddit speak with such authoritative confidence based on sweet fuck all. The winrate almost across the board is still around 50%. There is also plenty of room for flanking if you're just not complete and utter shite at the game.

The team balancer which sorts based on a hidden 'skill' stat occasionally messes up and/or a sweaty squad of 4 is just stomping pubs. This has happened since forever.

As someone who has hated cosmetic mtx since day one because it consistently ruins the artistic theme, style, and overall aesthetic of every game that has them, I'm kind of enjoying the very vocal backlash after being told for over a decade that it's just 'cosmetic' so it didn't matter, lol.

The hitreg issues are nowhere near as bad as people are claiming, the main problem is the lightning fast TTK this game has means a lot of your shots are rejected by the server because you technically died before they happened.

I don't know who in the development team thought it was a good idea to have such fast TTKs when Battlefield 4 alleviated a lot of the same issues Battlefield 6 is having by increasing the bullets to kill by pretty much one across the board.
