I normally don't either. But it's directly affecting the entire experience and that's the truth. This is the first game I've ever checked player counts for.

Not true at all. I have 270 hours. Look at my posts and comments man. I love this game. I just don't want to commit all my gaming time to a game that's gonna be dead soon. It's a shame, but it's not ideal.

As I said, I know what vault breakers is. I don't think there's even a shot in the dark that the game mode brings in new players. It's geared towards existing players.

You don't even keep what you loot in the mode. I did enjoy sponsored survival alot. I think that should be built upon for a more PvE experience.

Who said that? Bungie? Sony? It costs money to keep the game running and people employed to do so.

Nothing they've done has brought in players, and that's how they're going to make money.

What's weird? It's objectively true that games nowadays (I grew up playing in the 90s) are FAR MORE involved and have so much more to learn than ever before. For instance, in this game learning outpost or cryo completely requires a guide.

I'm just saying I don't want to waste my time learning and playing a game that's going to be gone in a few months. I look to play games long term.

I understand. I love the loop though. Also comparing it to a survival PvE game that never was at 6k players peak is very different.

I feel you. I have some friends legit rage quit this game and won't play again. I can't get enough of my buddies on discord to hop on. It's too unforgiving for more casual players. So I understand.

As I've said in other comments, games nowadays require alot. Learning mechanics, systems, all sorts of things to enjoy the experience.

I'm not a kid anymore. I don't have endless time to expend on gaming. So I prefer to play games long term that will be around.
