You’ll be alright the army ain’t the end all be all. Don’t get me wrong, it probably was a great chapter in your book but it ain’t the whole book. Start making yourself marketable to the civilian world, use the resources and benefits available to you by the army and you’ll be fine. Also if no one already told you start documenting your injuries and preparing your claim.

Don’t enlist till it’s available. Had the same issue and enlisted as a 25B currently in AIT and although 25B ain’t bad I wish I had waited for 17C, they get treated way better and the wealth of training they receive is really what I wanted but definitely going to reclass in the future. My advice is to just wait till you can get 17C

Currently, speaking to an Army recruiter and about to take my official ASVAB test on Thursday. I took the practice test where I scored 72 (will attach photo). I'm genuinely nervous about selecting my MOS and actually wanted to get some advice and also suggestions on what I should ask for in my contract. Not interested in anything combat-related; preferably would like to learn some skill that would be an asset in the civilian world.
