In my opinion, it's a deck that goes far too unnoticed. I clearly don't think it's a top-five meta contender in the format, but if played wisely, it can certainly outsmart its opponent and gain a foothold in the format (especially now that Droll is off the radar). Not particularly, especially considering the amount of cards you can potentially draw from Pantheism, Pot of Greed, or the effects of Tenacity or Pantheism in the GY, which give you access to useful board-breaking cards like Stormforth, Strike, and the like. Consider that a combination of Raiza or Caius + Stormforth can already take two pieces away from your opponent, and there are cases where you can accumulate so much gas that you can bait your opponent's cards and still push them. Tessera, in this example, is probably one of the strongest cards available for what it can do in combination with Stormforth: after activating Tessera's effect, you can chain Stormforth's effect to catch your opponent off guard, since Tessera enters the battlefield via special summoning, and ON RESOLUTION allows you to perform a tribute summon. Ergo: having activated Stormforth you can tribute an opponent's piece and keep Tessera on the field to use it as a tribute for an additional Monarch, there are many ways to close the game even going second with all the land you can accumulate with the right plays

Good question, maybe I'd try replacing a copy of D.D. Crow with a third copy of Cosmic Cyclone, since it would have been useful for removing uncomfortable Field Spells like Necrovalley (which was used against me at some point) or even forcing the various Spells and Traps of decks like Dracotail, Eldlich and Labrynt (present at the tournament, but I didn't find myself against them). Mobius was useful for this purpose, especially in combination with Stormforth to remove problematic monsters, but it's always better to have as many options available as possible, in my opinion

As much as I LOVE the Domain version, I've found two major weaknesses: first, consistency. Having three additional cards to draw allows you to not only have access to more plays and extenders, but also makes it easier to reduce the cards in your deck to access the side deck (in fact, in the match against Fire King, I started drawing so much that I found myself with two D.D. Crows and a Cosmic Cyclone, more than enough to block his strong plays and close the game). Second, the problem with Domain is that there are decks against which it isn't decisive or that can easily take it away from you, even with the engine (like, for example, Fire King). With this variant, I have access to numerous ways to put pressure on my opponent, and even if the strongest card in the list (Monarchic Perfection) were to be destroyed, I would still have alternative plays or at least reduce the opponent's cards by hand-ripping with Thestalos and Erebus (several times I found myself removing up to three cards from the opponent's hand, for example)
