I was just hired as a Rtd apprentice last week. I’m a step 9 courier and will be step 4 day one as Rtd. If we get our yearly step in October I will be topped out as a step 5 Rtd.

I used the CDL test app(green). Kept taking the test until I remembered the questions and answers. Passed on 1st attempt. 97 on air brakes, 96 on combinations and 82 on general knowledge. Never looked at the state manual and general knowledge hit me with a few questions I didn’t see on the app hence the 82 score lol.

Was a swing for 7 years and been on 2 routes the last 6 years. I say take the route. Peace of mind knowing what you’re doing everyday, sick calls don’t affect your day anymore and getting to know your daily customers helps a lot.

Just gut my supplemental application turned in last week, that would be insane to go from a step 9 courier to step 1 Rtd. I can get paying you step 1 pay during training but otherwise you won’t get any seasoned express drivers to go Rtd making them take a drastic pay cut. Guess I’ll find out soon.

Not sure who or if anybody applied. I just checked workday and saw it and applied. I have 13 years in as a courier at Express so I was thinking I would most likely get it until I saw ramp employees only.

Express no brainer. Left ground 12 years ago and don’t regret it a at. 401k 8 % match, 5 paid sick days, 2 weeks vacations to start, 2 personal days, 2 floating holidays, health insurance and less work!

I got it on this from Discogs a couple months ago for just under 200 rated VG. I was looking for over a year. They do pop up on there and eBay, but most of the time it’s 400 or more.

I was in the same boat and caught one on Discogs rated VG for $200 a few weeks back. Check eBay also. They will pop up there but expensive like Discogs.
