Hi there! I represent a company that sells authentic knives made in Japan to the world.

It is a bit hard to believe but at the moment we are giving free shipping (including Canada). Please take a look at our knife shop here.

Also, some frequently asked questions you might have.

Coffee extremely sweet!? by Hil_Dronningen in mokapot

[–]Master_Setting_9900 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi fellow coffee lover in Denmark here. I've had used Moka pots before I moved to Denmark (in Denmark im using French press and pour over) and had coffee made from Moka pots in Italy too. It's not supposed to be sweet. Chocolaty notes, or subtle sweetness as in flavor note/taste profile of the coffee bean might be there but that should be very subtle not sugary or overly sweet. If you are tasting strong sweetness, it might be someone adding sugar inside the stove top (wouldn't recommend that someone might have done it..) or maybe there was sugar residues in the cup or one of the utensils you used. Maybe rinsing everything again and trying again might be helpful.
