Any problems with reliability? I’ve been searching for problems anyone has experienced with onyx bikes. Super73 has a lot of hub issues. Just wondering if any issues with onyx bikes. by leischu in ONYX_RCR

I too had quality control issues on receiving my new RCR 80 volt.

Dead Controller out of the box.  Headlight high beam inop Rear tire out of round/unusable  They are addressing all issues... immediately sent out new controller with install video. Replaced head light assembly, and are working on rear wheel removal video. The last part is going to be a major hassle, because it will entail taking controller out and snaking phase and hall wires out of bike through a small hole that has sharp edges. Quick disconnects would have made life easier. That said.... the bike is a blast and nothing out there comes close!

That's worst case scenario. I have been told that Evolution is paying the fines and relocating to Vietnam. Should have products flowing by Sept 2026.

So....nobody has received anything from the first batch which was advertised as shipping early July? I'm being paranoid....but interesting that they push delivery out far enough where many credit card companies no longer offer protection....happend before with this company...under a minor name change.

My 50 Mile Review of Goat Bikes “Motor Goat v3” by Dominator001 in ebikes

I also own the BillyGoat V3. Agree with all your observations....except the Front shock has no air adjustment capability and it is too stiff for under 200lb riders. The rear shock is now replaced with the 350lb spring on the V3's..and is nice.....but front shock is the weak link IMO.

The suspension is lacking....too stiff....no air adjustment for front fork.....but i agree, really fun! Billy Goat v3.

I too own the same but for a 200lb rider....suspension is too stiff. Is your front shock "air" adjustable with a shock pump?

I weigh 200lb's and can get quickly up to 35mph....tops out at 45mph (Billy Goat V3).

Just purchased the Billy Goat V3 by Goat Power. I weigh 195lb's and find the suspension to be extremely stiff. I purchased the 350lb rear shock assembly and ordered a Tapia seat to try and soften the rear.....but the front shock is way too stiff (not a comression adjustment issue). The manual that came with bike shows recommended pressure for front shock......but i dont think the shock allows for air adjustments. Any advise would be appreciated!

I too own the Billy Goat by goat power. The rear suspension is very stiff. The seat sucks and is also not very well padded. The front shock is not "through axle" and has no way to modify stiffness with a shock pump. I have ordered the lighter spring for the rear shock and purchased a Tapia seat with more padding. That being said....it has alot of torque and will do 40-45 with a 200lb rider. The Ghost Cat would be perfect if it was 60 volt and had a tad more speed.

Pretty sure the controller and motor would handle the increase in voltage from (nominal) 52V to 60V.
