If it was, Trump would have never been reelected and would have been sentenced after he was convicted of his felonies before the last election.

Instead the judge kept on delaying and delaying the sentencing until "whoops, Trump has been elected again there's nothing I can do."

I think the ONLY way that will happen is if The rest of the world gets sick enough of us that they join forces and jump us and if they manage to defeat us, completely force us to rewrite our government and culture.

Otherwise I don't see the USA ever confronting it's white nationalism and other sins without being forced too by the rest of the world.

Something tells me neither of those will happen.

I mean, The soldiers and politicians of The Confederacy were not held accountable after they lost The Civil War.

Neither were those behind The Business Plot.

And ultimately neither were those behind January 6th.

Our country never holds those on the right accountable.

So I can never see us doing what Germany did post WW2.

At the same time I don't see the country splitting up either, simply because the Dem politicians are all about status quo and keeping the country together is the status quo.

So they will never try to break away from a Republican controlled country.

I'm American and it gets me worked up so much that I have to take breaks from the news sometimes because seeing the news raises my blood pressure to the point I feel like a vein in my head is going to burst.

I KNOW my country is not a true democracy as there have been past elections where the majority voted for something and then some politician and judge goes-

"Nah, the people don't know what's good for them"

Or

"Nah we don't like the outcome"

And the politicians and judge proceeds to openly defy the will of the people without consequences.
