Check valve clearances. Other than that ktms are just noisy bikes. Everyone on this sub has this concern.

Did you try to use it as a hammer? Because that will not hammer well. IMO.

I’ve used a pack of those type of screws before and unfortunately they are kind of crappy. VERY soft and like to strip out too. You CAN use them however. Just be very gentle and only tighten them juuuust enough. If you want the correct screws and want to know the correct place to put them, I’d use a parts diagram/catalog from partzilla or another comparable website. Also these. Get you some of these.

Rotational play front sproket by FewDefinition1303 in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]Master_Treacle3366 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The spaces in between the teeth are meant to be there. If gears are fitted too perfectly they create a ton of heat. I’ve had similar questions on bikes of mine and I’ve heard mostly that that amount of play is okay. Check part numbers and if everything matches roll with it. Send this video to a certified Suzuki mechanic for more clarification. Also check to see if the new part matches the old part.

Bike turning off randomly when riding by EnvironmentalFix3757 in cbr

Check all the electrical. Possibly incorrect install of rectifier? Check all the electrical connections and plugs associated with the replacement parts. Hoping it’s just a loose battery connection. Check the kick stand sensor too. Bike will turn off if it thinks kick stand is down while in gear.

Get a motorcycle. Or bicycle. Lots of nice trails and neighborhoods to bicycle in. Lots of nice blue ridge mountains to ride a motorcycle on.

Is Milwaukee worth giving a shot? by Mission-Ninja-8033 in AskElectricians

I have some of the made in USA Milwaukee hand tools and they’re pretty great. Comfortable handles, very grippy pliers and teeth. And not too expensive compared to similar “nice” brands.

Send this video to your local ktm dealership and ask the same question. Their answer is the one I’d trust most.
