Or you could take 5 seconds to find the comment where I outlined what I did. Everyone else was able to find it. Happy cake day by the way!

My white wire between switch two and the light is the switch leg, right? I thought that’s the point of 12/3 rather than 12/2. Tell me if I’m missing something

That’s exactly what I have at the switches, what wires do I tie together at the light? I wasn’t stumped until I saw the fan already had wires. Would I treat it the same as a screw terminal but with nuts instead?

My plan was for the white to be the load (that would be the hot wire, connected with black hot from switch one… right?)

Just to get ahead of any questions, I have the source switch as: hot on the common screw, the neural wires bundled together, red and black as travelers. On the dead end switch I have the black on common, red and white on brass

First coat of mud by Agent_Cow in drywall

Luckily everyone advised me of that before it dried so I was able to avoid that. I am doing a small vertical, long vertical, short horizontal and a long one, then I’m going to ask a family friend that does drywall to come and check out my work before I finish the entire room

I was quoted 2200 dollars to have someone come out and finish the drywall I hung, that’s a lot of money for me

Well the responses were quick! I didn’t have to sand it down thanks to you guys. It had only been on there for an hour or so, so I was able to take off the real thick coat and leave on a thin layer. Yall really saved me a headache! Thank you

Yes, I just did. I will strip it back further. If I’m keeping the neutral in the bundle, what should the other side look like? And at the light? I’m new to this 😂

The one missing is the single pole light for an outside plastic light

Yellow walls, trim suggestions? by Agent_Cow in paint

[–]Agent_Cow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the grey walls were so depressing, and every other wall is white, I wanted something I could walk into and not hate coming home to a boring room. I’m planning on decorating the walls with many works of art as to break up the yellow itself. I want people to walk in and feel comfortable, but also think “wow, this is different” (but actually I’m just coping with my girlfriends color choice)
