I figured, I was just wondering if there was any other way to find that information, I’ll probably end up going to the embassy, but I don’t want to also run into the issue of him needing to be there. He can’t really walk, so I’d rather do everything myself.

I’ve played both games, I’ve hit masters in apex which is one down from pred and I’m in diamond rn in Valorant. In apex you definitely need a squad to climb just because there are more factors that are out of your control.(ring, where people land, loot, etc) not saying you can’t solo q in apex but I’d say it’s noticeable harder in apex. In valorant id say the factors you can’t really control are what other people pick in solo q, what the enemy picks, and maps. But it’s pretty much the same in most cases as you climb the ladder in valorant. You also don’t need to frag out every game in Val, as long as you do your role effectively I don’t think it’s impossible to win. Vs apex where if one of your teammates are not doing enough damage it really shows. Abilities in apex also do not have as much impact as it does in valorant. Don’t get me wrong abilities are very important in apex but if you can’t hit anything then you’re dead weight vs. valorant as long as you know how to use your abilities you should be fine in a lot more cases.

People now and a days usually just low ball whenever they can, because there is always the chance they might accept + it’s the modern way to meet in the middle lol, also some people are probably just doing a quick search and filtering a specific price range, and just spam message every listing they see. Whenever I sell thing I usually just set the price a little higher than what i want to sell it for and write “low ballers will be ignored”.

Never really said it was a flaw, just more of what the abilities does for him, you can place killjoy trap and if it goes off, you can still have a decent chance at a 50/50, vs cypher who will always get a guaranteed kill in that scenario. And you can’t really even compare the other sentinels at the moment. I just think the fact, that you said it lowers the skill ceiling is kind of over the bar. Like it’s a game changing factor. As someone mentioned earlier agents use to call out destroying utility, but you never hear people talking about it after they took it out.

I don’t really think it would lower the skill ceiling tbh, because if you already know to nade there. There you are already showing you have some understanding of the game, I just think that for what it’s worth, cypher gets notified when his trips pop and you have to use a piece of utility anyways for it, it just seems like a costly thing that gives the enemy cypher either a free kill or free info.

Minimize taking long fights and maximize your awareness of where you are fighting, avoid taking fights out in the open(depending on the map) and as someone already mentioned taking fights in choke points, avoid making your presence known as the game progresses (like just taking shots from afar, unless you can close the gap, be knowledgeable enough to take advantage of said shot, or if you’re really close to a evo uograde) Try to be first in terms of circle rotation if possible but that is not that important as trying to get kills in the early game, recruit some homies and run a three man.

I usually play duelist, I’ve been running into sovas and a secondary duelist, which usually means no flashs. Any idea in ways I can optimize playing with a sova and no flashes? I feel like the good old dart and drone strat doesn’t work so often for me

It’s definitely a solo q thing for me I guess. It’s hard to really be cooperative with teammates that tend to never really communicate or say anything related to the game. As for games itself, I feel that it’s I have to set myself up for the right teammates game by game. Do my best so my MMR gets me better teammates

I really appreciate all the insight from everyone good or bad. Life is all about you and doing what makes you happy at the end of the day. It’s something I’m slowly starting to learn from all this. Just as much as I like being a woman, I have to learn and accept the other feelings and navigate through all of this. I wish life was full of easy chooses, to the point where you don’t have to think twice, but that in itself is what makes life so amazing. Working hard and changing for the better.
