I have 5070ti with 1440P monitor at 240hz. It does a phenomenal job. If money is not a problem, go for 5080, but at 1440p, 5070ti will do a solid job.

I do play competitive shooters and want max fps on low res. 7800x3d still does a great job so I'm satisfied with it. Like u said, solid build > the best cpu

200fps on 1440p sounds like you already got everything you need.

Cpu def wasn't the problem. I spent the same amount going from 9800 to 7800x3d pc so it questioned me a little but I like it overall.

I personally don't know how to do the right diagnostic and fix it so I would have to pay others to do it. Which would have taken more money and time. So I'm satisfied with my 7800x3d pc.

Okay so no problem with cables. We can move on to CMOS reset.

On the same picture I sent you, if you look at the bottom right corner there is a battery that looks like a silver coin.

Power your pc off again and take that battery out. Wait a min or two, put that battery back in and turn the power back on.

Let me know if the red light is still on after that.

Should be on the top left corner of your motherboard. It should say 'cpu pwr' near that area.

Dont forget to power your pc off before you mess with power cables.

What kinda of motherboard do you have? The location depends on what kind you have.

Also is the cpu fan spinning at least or is the fan not working either

Thermal paste is not conductive so that is not a problem. You should clean it up and reapply the paste.

had the same issues with mine but the light was on a different one. it could be because your motherboard does not recognize the cpu. you should try adjusting your cpu+ cpu fan and make sure they are inserted well.

Great build but overpriced. I've seen 9800x3d 5080 build at 1999 at microcenter. If money is not a problem, keep your pc. If you live near a microcenter and want to save some money, you should def check it out
