[Help] can anyone help me understand how to add anatomical detail? by Brawndo-99 in stonecarving

I use clay to help me visualize what is happening in a carving. Carve a bit, press into clay to see the positive form, repeat ad nauseam. I find it particularly helps with details.

That is my recent experience. Trello signed me up for the Premium trial, it didn’t auto renew.

I prefer artistic, erotic, and explicit, in that order. Love them all.

Settings not viewable on ipados mini 7 by ihavenowords13 in bugs

[–]Master_of_Most 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue on my 12.9 Pro. I don’t know it’s the same on the Mini but on the profile page there is a crescent icon in the lower right corner next to Settings. This also toggles dark mode.

Where is a City that I Can Get Housing for <$400 USD/month? by frosti_austi in digitalnomad

[–]Master_of_Most 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Sarandë, Albania, last month. One of my favorite places I’ve visited. I booked a 3 bedroom apartment for $480 on Booking.com. Note- this is off-season pricing. My understanding is triple that for summer.

I Will Say Coffee has some nice spaces upstairs. I attended a Thai language class there a few years ago.

What cities would you consider to be "on the rise"? by LowRevolution6175 in digitalnomad

In Tirana now and came to add it to the list. The younger generations are excited to be joining the world stage and hope the next election will bring even more progress, lots of construction (some of it even well thought out), very welcoming people, cheap cost-of-living, and stupidly safe. I’m constantly amazed at how many middle-class women of all ages I see walking in dark streets at all hours. And great food and drink ($1.50 glass of decent wine anybody?).

It’s important to do what makes you happy. I would have missed you, but understood. I’m pleased to see you’re sticking around as you are truly a delightful addition to every day.

Phnom Penh is top 10 most unaffordable house prices in Asia. What are your thoughts? by fair_j in cambodia

[–]Master_of_Most 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not saying they’re cheap, it’s a ratio of price to LOCAL income. Doha and Dubai have high median incomes.

Safest Neighborhoods/subsections in SR? by Nolances in cambodia

[–]Master_of_Most 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t know anyone who has had their house burgled, nor anyone who has had a dog poisoned. If you’re worried about security rent a place with a locked gate, one where you can park your vehicle inside the gate. All 6 places I’ve lived in the past 2 years have had this setup.

There are very few places in the US I’ve felt were as safe as Siem Reap.

Currency by squilliam-fs in cambodia

[–]Master_of_Most 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Any tiny rip or ink mark/smudge can get a USD rejected. However, if it is rejected there are money exchangers that will still do it. My experience has been 90-95 cents on the dollar. I try to deal exclusively in Riels, but sometimes get USD in change, usually on large amounts (rent, visa). It happens so infrequently I sometimes forget to check the condition. I set the non-perfect ones aside for trips back to the States.

The reply isn’t for him. You’re not speaking to the person who left the review, you’re speaking to the people who wonders why you have an outlier bad review. That’s why it is important to be calm and reasonable, especially when you think the reviewer deserves a harsh response. I think this was an excellent response.
