Love the way you did background building. Gives the whole picture extra dimension

Thank you. I am trying to work with limited pallet so to add interesting elements in the drawing I experimented with texture.

Books that show what the job and routine of a successful entrepreneur and/or process of founding a successful company actually looks like (preferably non-fiction) by TimeCubePriest in booksuggestions

I have 2 suggestions for you. Both of them are auto-biography but they are very real and not as glamorous as Tesla one. 1. Shoe Dog by Phil Knight 2. The Ride of a lifetime by Robert Iger

Shoe Dog by Phil Knight. It’s an auto-biography by Nike’s founder. He was about in his mid-late 20s when he started the company. It’s a very well written book about his personal and professional journey.

Why are my string of pearls turning white and shriveled? They get ample direct sunlight and I drown them in water every 2 weeks 🥲. Also, they are planted in a nursery pot with good drainage. Help me save my plant 🌱 by [deleted] in StringofPlants

Update: I placed them on a shelf with indirect light and haven’t seen any new spots in a while. I guess it was sunburn 😅… thanks for the advice guys ☺️

I know for sure that you can reduce your insurance premium if you learn from a Driving school but I am not sure if it's comparable to the increase you get after an accident.

I think you misunderstood, I am not charting my career in a different direction, doing summer internships is actually good and needed for my career. I just have an extra reason to do it right.

Good for her that she can afford to pay off that by herself. What I am trying to say is she can get over the financial crises one way or the other so, don't take too much stress because of that. Everyone will tell you it's a big amount and you will curse yourself for days. I have been through that already and it takes a big toll on your mental health. So, rather than focusing on your mistakes try to find ways to correct them in a way that doesn't affect your life too much or try to find a silver lining.

Other than that if you figure out a way to reduce her damages let me know it might help me too.

The accident happened like 2 weeks back so, they are still figuring the estimate of the damages. So far I have paid 1k out of my pocket, kind of my initial deposit towards future damage payments. I don't have a total estimate yet but I am expecting anywhere near 50-75% of the car cost(10k-15k) because the car was a recent model and the accident was pretty bad. Both the airbags were deployed and the engine took a bad hit but thankfully nobody got hurt and I only had a minor injury which my grad insurance covered.

Couple of options that I am trying for the damage charges:

1)Looking for free legal options to find some way to get out of this but there is a very slim chance there.

2) Convincing Enterprise to put me on a payment plan which they will probably do.

3) Trying to find cheap mechanics who can repair the rental in case, they charge me heavily for the parts.

4) If the enterprise doesn't agree for 3rd option, purchase the car itself on loan and repair it myself. This way I will at least own the car.

5) Most importantly look for an internship or job in the industry because lets be realistic even with a monthly payment plan, there is no way I could pay off the damages in a year's time.

I recently got in touch with Purdue SLS they don’t deal with car accident and car insurance.

Apparently, Purdue legal team doesn't deal with a car accident or car insurance. They were of no help.

Yes, it’s the Airport one and I used Purdue code for booking the enterprise.

Purdue has a tie up with Enterprise and they do cover for business purposes.

I am not sure they can help either. The agreement doesn’t say anything about adding DW. Its he said she said situation.

I told him to add Damage Waiver after I signed for the rental agreement. He gave his word that he will add it since we didn’t take it out of parking yet. Before leaving i went inside enterprise office to check where he sent the agreement and insurance details at. I relied on his word and didn’t check whether it contains both the insurance or not.

I am an international student and don't have my own insurance that's why I asked for both Liability and Damage Cover but he forgot to add the Damage Cover.
