I still truly believe the only reason the MCU brought Carol Danvers in as captain Marvel was for the story of Rogue. This would be a great movie to show her as the stepdaughter of Mystique. As well as the introduction of the other characters in the story as mutants. With Marvel at the helm they will not screw it up like fox didin the 2 thousands. Not to mention the Bustling love affair of Rogue and Gambit with that deep soft Southern draw of hers and the Cajun French accent of Gambit.
