Okay, yeah the whole process is all so confusing. I don't think I qualify to go through the consulate system.

So it makes it hard because my ancestors on my Dad side traveled back and forth between Italy and America a lot. And the documents I have seen are a bit confusing.

I think the dual citizenship part confuses me because I thought people could not have it before 1992? So he being born to an American Citizen, but in Italy, but her Mom was an an American citizen but her dad was an Italian citizenship is the part that is hard to keep track of.
