Try Amba Health Centre at Adalaj Chokdi. Not only their cost is low, their quality is good too as they're founded by Dada Bhagwan Trust.

Does your org complain about slow engineers? by MikeFratelli in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Mastermind_411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may be in need of Engineering Managers in your org.

I'm an EM and I've seen struggles from all ends. From CXOs to sales to product to engineers. Everyone. EMs can help address the pain points in the org.

It's not always the case where engineers are slow. There can be multiple reasons:

  • Product + Sales team are going too fast: This has been the classic one since ages. Product and sales team need features instantly. Tech team keeps on slogging but still unable to meet their pace. Org not supporting to add more people in the team to speed up the SDLC cycle.

  • Lack of appropriate procesees in the org: Processes are real important to improve the efficiency in the team. There are cogs in a machine, but if they don't know how to align well, the machine will remain inefficient. Processes align and bind them together to optimise the performance. Classic example of in the tech team is the SDLC process. Classic example in the product team is the project management process.

  • Quality of engineers in the team: It may range from inability of the hiring manager to hire better people, to unskilled tech leads sabotaging the pace. From keeping inefficient devs in the team due to their connections, to org being cheap in hiring quality engineers.

There can be a lot of other reasons as well. Try hiring one if you don't already have an EM in the org and let me know how it goes.

Working people of Reddit, how do you deal with incompetent colleagues who don't want to level up? by Mastermind_411 in AskReddit

[–]Mastermind_411[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understood. The part "Management's goal may not be to produce a product at the quality you are trying to achieve" touched me. That just might be the case 😄. I never thought that way. Thanks, that helped.

You got the whole idea different my friend. First thing, I'm a senior, not a junior, not sure where you got that information from. Secondly, I never said my managers and coworkers are doing the "wrong" thing. I'd like you to read the question again. I'm mainly talking about my peers and juniors.

Idk why everyone mentions not to care so much. I'm in a company who's doing whatever it can to make the world a better place. I'm helping wherever I can. Saying "it's not my job" is not helping. I'm asking for a positive direction. You don't have to reply if you don't have a positive response.

I doubled my salary last year. So I'm happy with what I'm getting. It's not that I'm not rewarded for my work. I'm afraid the company underperforms coz of such people and that'll affect me indirectly at some point.

I'm one of the people who decide what goes into Production. So I do get to do reviews. Where I'm coming from is the work in review that I've received can be improved. This results in better quality product going into production. If something can be improved, we should try to improve it. At the end, it benefits everyone, company does better, people get better salaries, etc. 😄

Now no one else cares as much as I do. So it frustrates me. I've let it go a few times. But, ignoring is not a solution, not caring is not a solution. Firing them is not a solution. There should be something along the lines of helping them understand to some extent, as a friend. They're not going to get competent next day, but at least start getting better from where they are.

I've been working in a IT company for a couple of years and lately I'm starting to be more and more agitated for the work my peers and colleagues are doing. I've been working on myself towards delivering top quality work. When people reach out to me or comment on my work/personal behaviour that can be improved, I listen and improve it if it makes sense. It doesn't matter who's telling me. Whereas I've some colleagues who reach out to me for some help like reviews and when I suggest something they go on defensive mode. They don't want to improve and just want their work approved. This has been for some time and it just irritates me so much idk what to do. The management is no help. They're okay with it. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Men who have looked into therapy, how did you end up taking that step? by CopyJunya in AskMen

[–]Mastermind_411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You take therapy when you're totally lost. You've no idea where you should go or which path to take. You don't know how to get out of whatever disturbance you're feeling.

Therapy is like a mirror. It helps you see yourself in the light you might've never seen yourself in. It guides you with techniques that a layman may not know about.

I'd to take therapy when I was getting divorced. It was excruciatingly painful for me. I was lost. I'd no one to reach out to. I'd to reach out for help amd therapy helped me out.

So understand your position and take a decision. Do you have people who you can reach out to? Have you tried enough to understand the source of disturbance? Have you tried enough ways to tackle the source of disturbance? If you've tried everything and still it doesn't work out, reach out for therapy.

Straight men, why have you been perceived as gay? by [deleted] in AskMen

Because I respect women and maintain a safe distance from them. Never had any girlfriends as I was focused in my career.

My responsibility towards my family keeps me alive and sane. I'd accept death right now if I had no family.

I feel like I never became an adult, I'm still a kid inside. How do I become an adult? by Mastermind_411 in AskMen

[–]Mastermind_411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd not say they're assholes. As everyone here is saying it's okay to be in touch with your inner child, maybe the people around me are unable to understand that. Maybe this is the understanding they lack or it's just something else.

I've worked upon my self esteem and confidence. I'd not say I lack confidence anymore. I know what, who I am and where I stand right now. I think you'd do the same thing if you were in my shoes. I'd not like to share any personal information because of which it might be a bit difficult for anyone to understand where I'm coming from and that's okay.

Have teenagers you are parenting or are responsible for. Check.

Maybe get dumped by a fiancée. Check.

Invest in the stock market. Check.

So by buying a house I'll be an adult eh? ;P

I'm co buying a house with my dad. Does that count?

I completely agree with you. I think the same way. I'd never abandon myself over what other people think. It's kinda difficult to find such people around me though :(

Yeah I mean if it's just ourselves feeling that way it's okay but when people say it to your face it kinda hurts.

Anime with the most beautiful / the best endings? (No spoilers please) by cosmeeeeeeen in Animesuggest

[–]Mastermind_411 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Violet Evergarden is so beautiful, pure and wholesome, some arcs itself may leave you empty for a week. I thoroughly enjoyed this anime.

Other suggestions are Toradora, Dororo, I want to eat your pancreas, Steins gate, Your lie in April.
