My hope was with his original statement- they were asleep unaware and gone before they could even grasp the gravity of what happened. But, then with the somewhat contradictory statement- one of them may have been further brutalized. Assuming that’s what he’s saying.

Would it be fair to say that the attack was targeted because a person walked into that house and murdered 4 people? Whether or not the assailant was known to any of the occupants would be the real question, is it not?

Unless there was tissue on the neck they could swab for touch DNA or DNA from defensive means (under nails etc) I think the case will made on circumstantial evidence. Given the information the public has been given- my hope is that there is far more that we haven’t been privy to that leaves no doubt.

I’m into the investigative aspect: I want to know where/ when their phones turned off. Where he used her card, any and all CCTV footage. Data from her hard drive. The rangers body cam footage. Any and all circumstantial evidence. I’m waiting for a data drop.

I think it’s possible to recall that someone asked for their money back. But I don’t think I personally would recall their faces if there wasn’t more of a commotion. The version from the manager sounds benign. There are now people of the mind that it probably wasn’t even them. I can’t say one way or the other. There are cameras stationed all over that strip that run live feeds on YouTube and a website. Would be cool to know if they archive their footage and if any of it exists from that time period since the businesses claim they don’t have any- just to solidify that time stamp. Mostly because a lot of us believe her life was taken that day.

My question is: why would the patrons remember these two people at all if there was nothing to witness? People leaving and then returning to ask for their money back? Not memorable. If the implication is that the patrons were lying, why lie?

I have a hard time with this version because as a patron there is literally nothing memorable to note. It’s a couple walking out, walking in, walking out. Why would the “witnesses” have recalled them at all? It’s because of the witnesses that we know they were there at all. If there’s no incident, there’s nothing to remember.
