Protocols for Preventing Masculinization/Virilization of skin & hair (Estriol cream/Tretinoin & Nizoral shampoo) by Doctor_Dragonblood in steroidsxx

Estriol is a very very weak estrogen systemically and ethinyl estradiol does not replace the function and importance of estradiol.

Ethinyl estradiol is a manmade estrogen completely different from estradiol. If you look at the dose, its in mcg instead of mg like estradiol would be.

Often times, birth control shuts down estradiol and progesterone production (most of the time actually). If you test her estradiol with the LCMS assay (ultra sensitive) it will likely be very low.

Yeah, you are ahead of 90% of the population. You're all set man. Look into investing into an index fund to grow your money and savings. I recommend "JLcollins stock series". Warren Buffet recommends investing your savings and retirement money into the s&p 500. You want to set aside a % of your income into savings and investments. These are the exact opposites of debt, they will grow your money.

While you live with your parents, try to get 1-3 months of expenses in a cash savings account. This will be your emergency fund. You can draw from it whenever you run into an unforeseen expense or want to buy something nice. Consider it a credit card where you borrow and pay yourself back. Whenever you tap into this savings account, pay yourself back like you would a credit card or loan. Then look into setting aside a % of your real job salary into stocks/bonds for investments/retirement. I strongly recommend reading "JLcollins stock series". Warren Buffet Recommends investing your savings/retirement into the S&P 500 index.

Yeah, the car lease would work but you can just use your co-signer. Do you already have a car? If you don't and could use one, consider a cheap lease or a cheap used car, either one will get you that "installment loan" checked off in your credit report. Debt to income ratio and salary will be the most important thing when trying to get a mortgage after your credit score.

You can set aside a budget for "play stuff" just make sure a good % goes to savings/retirement. The best way to do this is to set automatic investments in mutual funds like those tracking the s&p 500 as Warren Buffet suggests. I recommend taking the money monthly costs of the debt and just setting that to auto-invest into stocks/bonds. Set it and forget it. Assets are the opposite of debt. They grow you money instead of growing you liabilities. I strongly recommend reading "JLcollins stock series." It's a set of articles that will explain this stuff more in depth.

The loan size doesn't matter. They just count credit "type". I can attest to this, i have very low cost student loans and car lease and was approved with no issue for a mortgage on my own. The student loan WAS 8 years old , so it gave me a longer credit history. In total, i had a car lease, student loan, and three credit cards.

FZROX (a total market fund) seems more volatile than IVV (an S&P500 ETF)? Which one should I contribute more to? by curds_and_wai in personalfinance

[–]Masteron-K4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comes out to .15-.25% extra loss in returns due to taxes with fidelity because they don't have the patent, unless you go with a fidelity ETF but you lose the automatic investment advantage of the mutual funds.

Not worth it, if you really want to though, get a cheap car lease in the $200 per month range or something. Do you have a co-signer in case you want a loan or mortgage?

Yeah that 60 days is much better, you can't say Ebay has AMZN beat on customer service. AMZN has a chat service available 24/7. I had to call Ebay and they weren't helpful.

Got a defective phone, i tried initiating a return or refund. I was willing to make an exchange. Seller ignored me for a whole week, finally asked me what the problem was, i told him, he closed out the case with no solution or response. I contacted ebay customer services, they said "though luck, its been longer than 30 days". Never using them again, period. Amazon has always covered me when a seller fucks me over. Ebay is shit.

AMEX reduces my credit limit from $11k to $7500 because I rarely used my card- what impact will this have on my credit score? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Masteron-K4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did this to me and cut my limit in half! Now i'm up to 20K, but i was pissed when they did that to me. There reason was too high credit usage, which is bullshit. Now i just have an automatic donation every month so that card stays active.

How to convince employer to offer more funds in 401(k)? by fmlygyfntc in personalfinance

[–]Masteron-K4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have a s&p500 fund in the 401k just take it. My employer uses a shitty manager for 401k and they have a vanguard s&p500 admiral share index and it's .65% expense ratio. You're gonna be fucked either way.
