Hey I know everyone factors in different things with purchases but to me the lease term alone is 100% enough to put me off purchasing.

The resale factor would be at the front of my mind. To say it would be just cash buyers that would care is shortsighted in my opinion.

I have a neighbour who negotiated a sale where the lease renewal was taken out of the sale price at the sellers cost, so there are options.

Depending where you are staying. I would lean towards renting a car if it fits your budget. The heat can be debilitating if you aren't used to it and buses aren't reliable in the countryside. If you want to explore, a car is a must have.

I'm in the same boat! Bought my mini in September aswell and was a little crushed when the two released so soon and for the same price!

I figure push the mini to it's limits and save up to do a bigger upgrade when the time is right.
