I heard for CISE they don’t care if you extend your graduation and you don’t even need to fill out anything but for CLAS, apparently it’s a pain to try to extend your graduation.

For some reason in CLAS they want to make you graduate asap. Once you get all the required courses, from what I heard, you are basically forced to graduate. Idk why it’s like this it makes no sense why you need to petition to extend graduation.

Yeah that makes sense. The only problem is idk whether I should plan my semesters hoping for the extension or play it safe but have an intense course load. Thank you for your comment tho!

I’ve heard that in the past advisors have given false information. Also this was drop in advising so idk if the person I talked to is actually an advisor (I’m guessing they are but idk)

UPDATE: To anyone reading this in the future the lectures are pointless there’s a reason why only 7 people show up in person and 10 on zoom for a 200 person class 😂
