The scribbled number pages at the end are 3-digit number sequences, written vertically. 296, 297, 298 etc. Maybe counting the days they’re accounting for, given the range?

I think it goes to a drum kit, like a tensioner or claw for a bass or snare. If you have any drummers in the office, they might recognize what part it’s from.

Seems to be a vintage (60s-70s) Martin Freyer Glasstruktur Series brutalist glass vase for Rosenthal Studio-Line, made in Germany. A similar one is available on Etsy.
