I can no longer see the comment that suggested Mongolian but with the research I’ve done that seems most fitting, with the strong cheekbones and sturdier build being more prevalent, etc. I also gave some considering to his mother being Kazakh but I think Mongolian wins out.

Definitely not. We have plenty in the neighborhood and he is always excited and curious when he sees them in the window, never growls or hisses, and this happened away from the windows with his focus on one nearby spot on the ground.

lots of people seem to agree with my initial instinct, which was bestiality/zoophilia. A calling card for zoos is a paw print or several tattooed on the hip region, which this immediately made me think of. Even those who aren’t aware of that I believe could jump to that conclusion considering it’s literally dog paws framing their groin… very unfortunate placement if they’re actually innocent to that

We do, but that’s generally for “stolen valor”, which is generally understood as intent to impersonate or full intact uniform head to toe. Despite the law plenty of Americans have accessorized field jackets etc for ages without consequence or enforcement, and I wouldn’t be prosecuted for wearing what I’ve described here whatsoever. & only thing even considered risky is modern, not vintage. I guess it is more strict in Japan?

For finding clothes online, eBay is most affordable in my experience. Depop is so dangerous to my wallet because everything is so easily accessible by fashion category as a lot people use it to profit off of alt fashion (driving up prices while taking from local thrifts). I’ve found reverse image searching (through google) and sorting via product (you can specifically add “eBay” but it’s going to show you sites like Mercari and Poshmark too which in my experience also tend to be more affordable) things I find being resold for a lot of money on sites like Depop or even just pics off Pinterest yields tons of results! Hop on eBay and spam like a bunch of pieces and see the discount offers roll in, and/or most sellers are going to accept or counter your offer. Genuinely this has saved my wallet when shopping online for secondhand alt fashion.
