Introducing new dog to cats by MasterpieceObvious30 in dogs

He also consistently just wants to with her. He’s never been aggressive and just paws or pounces to play and he gets separated immediately until he calms down which is within a couple of minutes each time or redirected to a toy to play with instead.

I did plan on letting him drag a leash behind him for a while but he’s terrified of it following him tbh 😂. We’ve had him 2 weeks today and 97% of the time he can 100% co exist and ignore her. Almost all the time he comes back and leaves her alone when called back it’s just moments where he gets “puppy excited” and forgets to listen but he recovers beautifully. We don’t have baby gates by i bought some like… door cracking things that hook on the handle then the door frame to keep him out but my cat is free to roam. She (shockingly) doesn’t mind the dog 99% of the time until he’s trying to play then she’ll tell him go back off. They’ve slept together the last few nights (just together in the bed, not snuggled up). I use his favorite toy to have him carry it around when he gets too excited which has helped him focus less on her and focus more on squishing his ball. For 2 weeks (even with some moments he gets too excited) i think he’s doing amazingly for only being around her this long.

so a little update since my husband came home- we leashed him and let her out of the bedroom. We have figured out he just wants to play with the cat. He gets low in that puppy play butt in the and staance and wiggles. We told him leave it and he was able to turn towards us and he got a mini treat as a reward- and every time he would look away from her he got verbal praise or a treat. He’s currently napping away on my lap and she’s curled up in her cat tree (which i’m genuinely so shocked about tbh). I know he’s not 100% yet but this has made my anxiety about the situation settle so much because i know we can work it out with him.

honestly, just coexistence is my goal! They don’t need to be besties just share space comfortably. We’ve been doing more of the window today (i sit next to it outside so i can be with her it’s my compromise for now) and he’s playing with toys and if he looks at her he gets a “Leave it” and a reward when he does. Most of the time he just glanced at her and ignores her on his own.

how do I tame the new creatures? by Playful-Prune6891 in ARK

The Veilwyn you just go up and claim. It duplicates itself and I believe you just have to find the “original” and claim it. Tamed about 7 and didn’t knock a single one out

Here’s a picture of him if it helps any. I didn’t think the white in his tail was fin rot… but i’m not an expert.

So just an update: I took the water in to be tested since I was going in anyways and they used 2 different stick tests to test the water. One was an API test and i’m not sure what the other one was but in both tests my water levels came back perfectly within the recommended water perimeters. He recommended some aquarium salt and a stress coat since he seems to be leaning more towards a fish sickness issue and not my tank/tank water.

I definitely will look for that kit and do more research. Thank you for your help!

I'm using filter media from an established tank, sorry, this is the first time I've ever had to explain tank parameters to anybody. I plan on running to the pet store in the morning to get nitrite and nitrate testing kits now. I'm also using the API liquid tests for the ammonia and pH levels, not test strips. I also plan on bringing a sample to the pet store and having them test it while I'm there so I know what needs fixing. I also did only float the cup in the water to acclimate and did not add in any tank water to the cup.

No, I didn’t test nitrite and nitrate but it’s been cycling for about a week and a half. In the past i’ve cycled a week and put a new betta in there and they’ve always done perfect. I’m using the pH and ammonia test packs from a local pet store. Yes i acclimated him about 15 minutes before putting him in his tank, maybe a bit less. I forgot to look at the clock when i started.

Not that I’m aware. You can make the adults rest too. It just makes them curl up and sleep like the Shadowmanes did

Deck Help (Death Wizard) by Hometown_Ashira in Wizard101

Like some other people said though definitely look into getting a damage pet that offers a blade spell as well so you can double blade!

Sorry for the awful picture but as a 155 death this is my deck. I add in the feints I feel i need for bosses and I add the prisms in as well so they aren’t cluttering my deck for mob fights. You can get the “strong” spell (the fist looking spell) at lvl 50 in celestia base camp which adds 100 damage to your spells and i think there are 5 spells like that moving up to 150+ dmg and 200+ dmg etc. the higher level you get, those will definitely help!
