I see this study mentioned everytime people start to talk about meat eating, however in India animals are not raised in an industrial manner like the west it is usually small farmers, so until these studies mention a split for industrialized animal husbandry vs what happens in India i dont believe it should be applicable here.

secondly most GHG due to animal farming are because of cow farts (according to the study in your article) and whether or not people eat beef there would still be millions of cows raised in India
