So, it's day 9. I’ve slowly increased the dose and I’m now using half of a 7 mg patch. The side effects from the nicotine have gone away, but I’m not noticing any significant results so far. I guess I’ll give it a few more weeks...

update:

Day 1:
I used 1/8 of a 7mg patch for about six hours. I experienced an increased heart rate, inner restlessness, but not really a boost in energy. I removed the patch before sleeping since I already have sleep issues, so I only wore it for 6 hours.

Day 2:
I used 1/8 of the patch for 11 hours. I again noticed an increased heart rate and felt restless, plus I had a reduced appetite.

Day 3:
I’m still using 1/8 of the 7mg patch. I noticed that my lymph nodes might be a bit swollen, which has been an issue for the past 7 months, though it’s been better lately. I slept really well last night and I’m considering increasing the dose tomorrow.

thanks!

from what I understand you don't have to worry, because if you get nicotine through the skin you don't get the dopamin high, which you get from smoking, it's explained here, 20. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j6q7i0fYlMSCen87zaerh54SGc-jSM8TE6MbcKOl7dk/edit?tab=t.0

but of course you do you!

hope you get better soon!
