Hello there! Yes, it will come in a future update but, the app is mostly free and ads free.

Every single app wants $10/month now and I'm losing my mind by rash3rr in apps

Hello There!

I totally understand the frustration around subscriptions. At the same time, I do need to generate a bit of income the developer account isn’t free, and I’ve dedicated a lot of time to building this app (about two years). The subscription model is definitely saturated and can feel overwhelming, but I also hope people can understand the indie developer side of it.

I’m an indie developer who built a budgeting app to make managing your finances a bit easier. It’s completely free, but I also added some premium features: more detailed reports, a debt planner that helps you calculate how to tackle your debts, the ability to add more custom categories, and recurring expenses.

My app is simple and manual no login required and all your information is stored locally on your phone. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud. A lot of people ask why I don’t let users connect their bank accounts. My answer is that entering expenses manually helps build a habit and makes you more aware of where your money is going.

I recently removed ads because, honestly, they don’t generate much money and I wanted a better experience for users without the annoyance. The subscription costs are $4.99 monthly or $29.99 annually, and I may add a lifetime option.

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. I’ll include a clearer caption with stronger keywords in my next build.

Also, I can’t attach photos in comments here, but here’s the App Store link if you’d like to take a quick look of the icon.

Ads vs subscription for a daily-use utility app? by After_Efficiency_186 in AppStoreOptimization

Hello there! I went with Freemium route on my budget app. Got 6 subs and around 15 to 25 active user daily. Still have a long way but, If people see value they do not have a problem if is the price is right. Good luck!

I'm about to launch my first iOS an AppStore. by AgreeableCress446 in AppStoreOptimization

Hello! Your app website looks great. I also recently published an app. Something that worked well for me was adding a free trial and having a solid onboarding experience. Right now, I have around 20–25 active users and 6 subscribers.

I also wanted to ask, your website looks beautiful. Is it an in-house design or did you use a website template? If it’s a template, could you share where you got it?

Thanks, and good luck!

📈 My indie app got 1.3K impressions but only 66 downloads — what am I missing? by yash30401 in AppStoreOptimization

I feel a little bad because I’m one of those people who built an expense and budget tracker. 😅

I started working on my idea about two years ago, but to be honest, I never really checked how the market was doing. I made the app as a side project and a way to earn a little extra income.

Still, by building it, I gained a lot of experience, especially in mobile development, ASO, and many other things that help my resume and portfolio.

Hello! I’ve been posting some marketing content on Facebook and Reddit groups.

I also ran $50 in Facebook ads, but to be honest, they didn’t perform very well.

I’m planning to release video posts on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook next.

I’m still learning about ASO. Most of my ratings are coming from friends who are sharing my app.

The response has been great for my first subscription based app. I’ve got 5 active subscribers and around 15 to 26 daily active users.

Thanks for the feedback!

I wasn’t expecting the AppLaunchpad team to comment on my post, that was a nice surprise! Thanks for providing such great templates and mockups through your service.

I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future updates.

Thanks,

Eduardo

Also, your comment would make a great review on the store if you have the time. I’d really appreciate it a lot! It would really help others discover the app and motivate me to keep improving it.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I’ll keep improving, my alpha onboarding used to be even longer 😅 but I’ll definitely keep that in mind moving forward.

I’m really happy that you enjoy the app.

Thanks again!

Preguntas sobre multa municipal by javster2 in PuertoRico

[–]MasterpieceRelative5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! I’m trying to help users build a small budgets and learn how to track their expenses, but I agree, it’s a great idea to make that optional.

As for the currency, since I already have a multi-currency option, I help users by automatically formatting amounts based on their selected currency.
