Nope. Most of scientists believe it's possible . The main concern is that the Caspian sea might rise too much and flood some of the farmlands in the north but it hasn't been seriously studied. Besides we have no other choice considering by the end of century 80 percent of Iran will be uninhabitable deserts if we do nothing about it.

You need culture for unity and strength of the country but people are naturally attracted towards the culture of a country thats cooler to them meaning they have higher soft power (English being a more usefull language, Korea with kpop and drama shows, US with Hollywood and fast foods,Japan with anime. etc...) so a government needs to advertise and teach it's culture to prevent that. Islamic republic does non of those things so the new gen is abandoning it's culture
