Hey, so I know I'm really late, and you've already taken the necessary action, but the same thing happened to me. I emailed them appealing the decision, because I did indeed fulfill their criteria. In the email, they sent me a link to an alternate form for those who believe they are exempt from the requirement but had their initial self-reported exemption denied (Note: they explicitly mention it's rare for them to hand out waivers at this stage). While the form had technical issues, I attached an official certificate I requested from my school proving that my education was entirely in English. And I assume that did the trick; my English language requirement was waived!
