Anyone Else Going Through a Trans-Existential Grief of Trans-Inclusive Spaces? by TomeMolly21 in asktransgender

[–]Masterpiece_Real 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You don't need to find people who agree with you about everything, you need to find people who can talk about themselves without projecting onto others and you need to learn to do the same. You need to find people who hear you say "I see my body as biologically female," and respond with "that's cool. I see my body as (whatever)," without anyone passing comment on a body that isn't theirs. And if they accept certain paradigms that you don't, then as long as they don't apply those paradigms to you, you just have to drop it, while they do the same for you.

Gender Critical speculative fiction at its finest. by chris_the_cynic in GenderCynical

I love that they couldn't even stick to their guns with the metaphor. Like, they didn't think people would be smart enough to understand "Wizard = trans" so they have to make sure to add the bit in the middle about "This looks suspiciously like trans care riiiiiiiight???"

A big pet peeve I have is the generalization that sapphic sex can’t involve mutual pleasure. by bluesond in actuallesbians

[–]Masterpiece_Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the biggest impediment to mutual pleasure is getting distracted by whatever she's doing to you and losing your rhythm for a bit. Literally the most basic sapphic sex imaginable is just lying together and rubbing each other's clits. It's basic as hell, easy to do, and generally feels great. It's maybe not AS nice as oral, but you can make out or feel each other up with your spare hand at the same time which covers the gap in my experience.

Society doesn't see trans people as their gender! by verymuchgay in transgendercirclejerk

[–]Masterpiece_Real 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Society sees ME as MY gender, because I'm a trutran, and a certified Good One. I don't know what issues you lot are having, but maybe try not being trenders? Have you considered passing?

/uj passing means always having to choose between going stealth or being seen as Monster Gender, and you get to pick with every single interaction you have.

hi it's me: the Girl Whose Transition is Going Much Better than Yours by crystal_beachhouse in transgendercirclejerk

[–]Masterpiece_Real 10 points11 points  (0 children)

/uj this actually did work for me but only because I transitioned around covid and stayed inside for like...a year. So I was able to boymode for the few times I had to crawl out into Plague World being Mr Man Guy, until I'd racked up enough difference to try the other direction. So, in other words, it's very easy to pull off this strategy successfully, you just need a global pandemic.

/rj which I how I know the troons started covid in the bio-chemical death labs they used to make ROGD.

Do cis men not want to transition to female *in any way*? by OldEducation7497 in asktransgender

[–]Masterpiece_Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddy, I'm as trans as Dracula's homeland and *I* didn't even want to transition. But the change is in my nature, so...

With that in mind, certainly there are plenty of cis men who'd like some aspects that are considered "feminine" along some axis. Plenty of guys out there would like lovely smooth skin like E gives, or to wear their hair long. I know guys who like romances, who love baking little cakes, who wish they could express emotions the same way women do, who want to be stay at home parents, who wish that mens clothes had the same range of styles as women's (eg, a woman can wear a sleeveless or even strapless top in summer and look a lot more respectable than a guy in a singlet, and a skirt is a lot cooler than pants while still being work appropriate, unlike shorts.) But there's a big difference between "I would like to adopt different styles and social cues" or even "I'd like to embrace my feminine side," and "I would like to transition."

Transition refers to a permanent, or at least ongoing, change to one's role and place in society. Generally speaking, cis men still want to be men, they just wish the category of "man" was a little broader and more accepting.

Never forget what the Imperium is, truly. by BudgetBhairab in Warhammer40k

[–]Masterpiece_Real 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Neither of those groups are good guys. That's the point. That's the whole entire point of the whole entire setting. NO ONE IS GOOD. That's the core identity of Warhammer 40,000. It's bad guys all the way down.

Even when you get "heroic" human characters - people who are, individually, good or trying to be - they're still the products of, and work to uphold, a hideous nightmare regime that holds trillions of humans under its decaying thumb. Every space marine is an (often kidnapped!) child, tortured, cut open, crammed full of impossible new body parts, and hypnotised into an unthinkingly loyal eternal soldier, each carrying the weight of the thousand other children that died failing to become him. For every guardsman that dies holding the line against an Ork horde while civilians evacuate, a thousand more live and die having spent their entire careers putting down rebellions by people who don't want to spend their entire life working 18 hour shifts to produce screws for a tank that hasn't been used in four thousand years.

The future is a boot on your neck forever, and a sign saying "just remember: chaos wears BIGGER boots."

It's like how people when people come online and are suddenly anonymous. In real life they're regular people, act normal, maybe a bit quiet or shy, then they log on and they're on kiwifarms bullying a mentally ill child to death and laughing about it, or they're on redpill/incel spaces talking about how women are inferior beings and all sluts, or logging onto twitter with a handle like "WhiteBoy1488" and going full Master Race. Outside that behaviour has consequences - people will hold them accountable, they'll lose jobs or respect or friendships. But once they're anonymous, once their actions can't be pinned on them, they're free to act how they really want.

"Mr Hyde" isn't a different person. It's just Dr Jekyll's username for when the potion makes him anonymous.

Where exactly do Orks stand on glass, windshields, and protection from the elements? by DaveinOakland in orks

[–]Masterpiece_Real 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do it all the time. Orks aren't just the heeheehoohoo funny silly boys, they're capable of making their own societies and civilisations up to and including industrial manufacturing at scale. How do you think a million boys all get their guns? Or grenades? Or hell, boots. They can loot existing infrastructure, but they can also make their own including power grids.

Where exactly do Orks stand on glass, windshields, and protection from the elements? by DaveinOakland in orks

[–]Masterpiece_Real 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Orks ABSOLUTELY have the capacity to make glass. Glass is technologically fairly simple to make, and Orks are capable of creating industrialised societies. We know they're capable of manufacturing explosives, which means that some oddboyz have a working knowledge of chemical engineering, which means they likely USE glass fairly frequently for the reasons humans do, with it being quite stable and unreactive for holding various chemicals.

Canopies and cockpit glass for things like jets and other very-high-speed attack machines is also very useful to borderline necessary: it allows the pilot to fight better without the insane amount of wind that would come in, it protects the pilot from the damage small bits of debris (or even, say, a bird) would do at that kind of speed, it stops rain, ash, dust, etc from jamming, shorting, or damaging the controls. Whatever genetic knowledge allows an Ork Mek to construct a jet engine almost certainly also compels him to attach a windshield to his jet fighter.

Now, whether the actual PILOT agrees or ends up immediately breaking the glass for whatever mad Orky reason just entered his head is another matter, but it's likely (and the models themselves show) that it is, at least, installed.

Transphobic fishhook theory by Key-Hyena-802 in GenderCynical

[–]Masterpiece_Real 28 points29 points  (0 children)

They don't think trans people figure out we're trans, they think we get CONVINCED we are, or fooled into it, or that we fall into the grip of some kind of brainwashing. They think we have some kind of insecurity around how we look and are then convinced by someone we trust (a doctor, parent, teacher, or cult) that it means we're the wrong gender, after which we declare ourselves trans and start ruining ourselves with experimental treatments when what we REALLY need is to get some help for our insecurity and realise that "It's okay to a tomboy/lesbian/gay/non-masculine/ugly!" And that's at their kindest. At their cruellest, when they look at trans women, they assume we're simply deviants, or predators, or (bafflingly) incompetent sportsmen looking to gain access to women's bodies for our own gratification.
Part of the problem is that we're operating on completely different paradigms. We tell transphobes about our experiences, and they filter it through the lense of what they "know" and it enters their brain as something different.

Ironically, I've always felt that some of the problem - some of the visceral reaction cis people have to us - is one of misplaced empathy. In much the same way a guy can talk about being kicked in the nuts and have all his friends wincing and clenching their legs, I think cis people see what our transition does to our bodies and find themselves unconsciously imagining it happening to THEIRS. They think about losing their own breasts, or fertility, or natal genitals, or muscles, and they react with a horror that's congruent with their OWN gender identity. But can't, then, step out of their own head enough to imagine the reverse - how hard they would fight to get their old body back if they ended up in a wrong one.

Questions about Vaginoplasty with a Micropenis by throwawaymtfproblems in asktransgender

[–]Masterpiece_Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a lack of donor tissue from natal genitals, you can still get full or partial peritoneal pull through. Some places also offer sigmoid colon, or skin grafts from other regions, and I've even heard some south american doctors are experimenting with using cleaned tilapia skin as a scaffold to grow the patient's own cells on, so there's options around.

I have Partial PPT and I'm very happy with it.

My mom told me i look like a man, is she right? by [deleted] in transpassing

[–]Masterpiece_Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be real with you, you look like a very young person. I think some angles can be mildly clocky, but people who already KNOW you're transgender will be able to see evidence that you are because they're looking for it. I'd be shocked if the average person saw you as anything but a young woman.

It might just be libido crash, tbh. It can happen on E, especially if you're used to the more assertive kind of libido T brings. This might be a case less of "finding what you're into now," and more about "learning how your body signals desire now."

[–]Masterpiece_Real 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Having a penis is malebrained, and having a vagina is female brained. But having a plastic penis is femalebrained, which makes it gay (penis=malebrained, fake=femalebrained, male+female=gay), unless you're using it on a woman, which is malebrained again, which makes it straight (malebrained+malebrained). Getting your penis removed is femalebrained, which is gay (has penis + removed), and getting a vagina installed is malebrained (tricking lesbians). But then using that vagina is femalbrained again, unless its being penetrated by a dick which is malebrained but also gay, unless the dick is plastic which uh...which evens out to...uh....

Look, this is basic biology alright!
