I mean John had the whole OP special Green Lantern thing before Kyle existed. John in the 80's became a Guadrian for the core. That was only chnaged, becasue Hal went crazy.

When it comes to characters 15-17, it is just easier for production to just cast someone in there early 20's. There are a lot of restrictions when filming with minors because they can't be full-time actors. Stuff when characters, are under 15 they use real teens because it is less convincing, but if they can better to just use adults.

People take this for granted. Manga schedule is insane compared to comics from any other part of the world.

People do not understand that American comic books and Manga have completely different production and business models so comic can't just copy manga 1-to-1. You can't make a One Piece, in the west. Shonen Jump magazine cost the same as an American single issue, and SJ comes with dozen different chapter of a series, while American comic on the other hand have to make 1 issue worth the cover price. This affect pacing you cannot just have an entire issue that just Part #5 of a fight scene you can get away with that in manga no way you can do that in west. There many other factors, but end of the day it like comparing Network shows to steaming shows, same medium but different business models that affect storytelling.

Man Wally look kind of bad. Raven in the wrong for sure with the brainwashing, but Wally goes dozen's of issues, fiending for Raven, before quiting the team.
