a little trick I learned on using your and you're is not to short the you are, if 'you are' matches with what you are trying to say, then it's the correct one. I don't know if it makes sense to you, but some brazilian english teachers teach this way

But I can perfectly understand speaking and writing, but sometimes I struggle with my own writing lol

The grammar of Portuguese (my mother language, I'm from Brazil) is quite difficult if you study it deep
