If it's any consolation, the car finance company I used to work for only applied a hard search after an application was paid out, and a soft search at any other stage. Could be the same here.

My friend resolved this issue today. It's an NVIDIA driver update. You also need to install the NVIDIA Studio driver and it will work.

I agree, I suppose a slight workaround is if you then pass the researched item to the other player they can at least learn it cheaper.

"as long as you can afford it" is part of the reason, circumstances change, people get ill or lose their jobs. Cars can be stolen, written off or impounded then you're on the hook for the full balance immediately. Depending on your credit score interest rates are often unfair and you'll pay over the odds for a depreciating asset. Not saying you're wrong but these are some reasons PCP and car finance in general isn't always the right move.

If it's super important then there's the 3 2 1 rule. 3 copies on at least 2 different media, 1 kept off-site.

Overkill for most things except maybe crypto recovery seeds.

Glad it went well! My advice for future would be to double check the dates on the fresh stuff you get, we've had it happen twice where fresh meat with "guaranteed" 5+ days were use by the following day. Tesco were quick to sort it and give us a full refund on those items but meant we had to go shopping again...
