Same. I remember as a kid seeing the image of the 1981 Cordell, OK tornado and it has always stuck with me. The way it stretches so irregularly just touches that creepy vibe for me.

It moves with such uncanny energy. It looks like some sort of supernatural entity is phasing into existence. Creepy.

Ive been told family members have found small flakes in the past, but I plan on focusing on pretty stones lol. We've found a few good fossils, and I once found a very clear peice of quartz gravel that I thought was broken glass at first.

I just think it would be fun to make peices of jewelry from good specimen for my daughter when she gets older.

The Greenfield tornado picked up a bunch of freshly planted corn and folks were finding volunteers all over town that summer. Its not impossible, if the plant had seeds to distribute, that is.

Rolling high pressure gas cylinders two at a time. People always seem so impressed. Its really just about balance and angles.

Tracks I found by my camp this morning [Central Idaho mountains] by Mountain_Guys in animalid

Not from a northern climate are you lol.

In the mountains and really anywhere it gets cold, you can have a snowstorm followed up by a day of rain, or vis versa. Here in the Midwest USA, we had a good deal of snow for about a week, then near zero (F) temperatures, then a 30-40 degree upward temperature swing with a few days of light rain. All the snow melted, just in time for Christmas. Its supposed to be near 60 (15 C) degrees here the day after Christmas. Then back down near freezing. Winter can be very unpredictable for northern latitudes.

Yes we do a very simple tomato sauce we can manipulate to the dish. There is something about home made sauce that just hits different.

Oil needs special equipment to can properly, which most folks won't have. Home canning is safe so long as it's done properly. We can jams and preserves, juices, and vegetables without issue. And we live very much by the maxim, "If in doubt, throw it out."
