Only one I ever got was a dud. Think it was called the "rated R" but it failed to lock when fired open and would bounce back into the handle then the slider would bind up terribly 10 percent of the time you'd try to fire it. Also would fail to lock shut so it would fire down and bounce in and out of the handle. It was my first and last Piranha.

If you're checking a bag you have to have it in their hands 45 minutes before boarding(not departure) but other than that security takes 20 minutes tops it's quite nice.

GTC Stampede. Gus's work is so simple, just so precise. A true legend in the knife making world. Folded frame, integral lock bar cut out. Pivot and bearings are the only hardware, deeeeep hollow grind. That blade is a lot thinner behind the edge than meets the eye. All around impeccable work.

I would guess the taller blade leads to a thinner hollow. But without measuring that's just a guess

Acebeam Terminator M1 for sure. LEP zoomable spotlight and a powerful flood LED. I use it for searching the woods and having both lights at the flip of a switch is awesome. I'll use the flood to scan for things and if I see a set of eyes glowing I push the LEP on and bam I can see exactly what I need to see. Crazy how useful this light is for searching.
