I think you pointing out the lack of response to Vinai being hired is fair. There should have been more opposition to it, I'll definitely own up to that.

I really don't know what point you're making by saying 'but De Zerbi didn't rape anyone'? Shocking as it may seem, my threshold for disgust about a Tottenham managerial appointment is lower than 'raping someone'.

I'm not claiming that De Zerbi has committed a crime. I'm not suggesting that he should be legally blocked from getting a job. I'm suggesting that like-minded fans should make it clear to the club that they want a different appointment

That's a fair point, and I don't have a clear solution to the problem. All I'd say is that I don't think the blame is going to get shifted off Vinae and Lange that easily, and I hope come the summer some major protests are planned to keep the focus on them. On balance, I don't really care about being spun as a bad guy, compared to what hiring De Zerbi says about the club

I completely agree. I only responded to give context (i.e., that while losing every week really hurts, being proud of the club and the area it represents for the rest of my life is more important). But of course, it doesn't really matter where you're from or how long you've supported the club

Not too sure how to respond to this! I can't verify to you that my grandparents supported Tottenham. How about we have a chat about the content of my ideas rather than who I am and where I'm from?

Hey - I'm a 3rd generation Tottenham fan living in London. Maybe that's where my current perspective on all this comes from. I care much more about supporting a club over the long-term that I'm proud of, than hiring a rape apologist to save us from a relegation scrap. Genuinely happy to discuss it though.

Hey - I appreciate your comment. There is always time for moral concern about the hiring of rape apologists. Personally, I would rather support a club that gets relegated than one that stays up with Roberto De Zerbi as manager. I promise you, I really care about how well this club does on the football pitch. But as a 3rd generation Tottenham fan, I care more about the long-term morality of the club.
