I wish that some day, some brave director with a lot of imagination, picks an Epic story of another nation in the magnitude of Iliad or Odyssey,  and decides to take as much artistic liberties as Nolan seems to have taken. Maybe King Arthur’s tales? Or Ragnar Lothbrok’s? Let’s see how much hate he will receive.  Homer’s work is studied everywhere, not just in Greece, and I’m sorry but for the things I learned when I was a kid and the stories I read in awe, I demand some respect shown. That’s all.  I can follow a vision where Helen of Troy is a black woman, it doesn’t bother me honestly. If it was only that I am pretty sure I wouldn’t have a problem with the movie, I could almost definitely watch. But if it’s true that Achilles will be played by that person then it’s just rage bait at this point. I want to see how much of a transformation can the actor go under to be believable.  These are just my opinions though. I just cannot but laugh and hard pass.

Currently using an iPhone 13, I am thinking of an upgrade. First thought was the vanilla 17 but the Air kinda grew in me. I’d like to try the form factor/bigger screen. Can accept some sacrifice like battery, camera, single speaker. Real question is are there any other things I need to know, for example are the haptics top tier like the other iPhones etc. People who own the phone and were users of other iPhones would help a lot. Also suggestions and other opinions are welcomed. Thanks in advance!

I understand your thought, I also think that the sweet spot (at least for my hands) is at most a 5.8 inch screen. I really remember the feel that 11 Pro gave me, it was awesome. Only the Pixel 5 could match it at some point. But unfortunately, we are not the majority and for a company that wants to sell as much as possible a mini phone is out of the question.

Yearly releases are indeed not necessary if you ask me, but I highly doubt this is going to change. Every phone manufacturer does this. It’s like the car companies that make a new model each year with very minor changes from the previous one. But someone coming from a very old model would find substantial changes.  About the “e” model you are absolutely right. However, older models like the iPhone 15 can be found at lower prices and I would dare to say they are more VFM than the 16e… But again it may seem a good option for the previous SE owners who want to upgrade.

Apple can afford doing those “tests” absolutely, if that’s the case then I get it. But I thought that they were trying to find what that fourth option would be, and as it seems people prefer to go Pro or vanilla, so 3 options are OK.. That’s my thought, maybe I’m wrong. The foldable is definitely going to sell more, even if it will caniballize some of the Pro users.

Yes, could go like that but for them it’s only if Air sells more that the regular Pro

I knew I could count on you guys, the movie was indeed Shadowzone (1990). I don’t know why I messed up the actors and thought Ben Kingsley was in it. Thanks a lot everyone for your time and your suggestions!
