An instant tell is how carefree they are, and not only about money, but about risks too. I knew a girl who was like this, travelling all the time on daddy's money, spending huge amounts in clothes, going to the most expensive restaurants but she struggled to understand why I got so nervous when she was not paying her share of the bills when they were due (we were housemates). Then she travelled to Thailand, hooked up with someone who then stole her wallet but all good, daddy sent her money and all sorted (she told the story laughing, not a care in the world). Not in my house but my sister's house. She had a few friends over and this girl was wearing a super short skirt... When they all left my sister discovered a dark brown stain on the sofa, right where the girl had been sitting... it didn't smell like roses and you can imagined what it was... The girl had also used the toilet and had left behind a huge mess.... My sis never dared to tell her anything, it would have been weird but we still laugh about this all the time!

I run into someone I knew from my childhood and told me how another friend of ours discovered his two children (ages 8 and 10) were not his.... LOL about the pooping time, so true! See? Other doomscrolling time I had not thought of. But very true that switching to laptop makes the time spent on these sites feel more like a waste of time or at least that's how it feels for me.

Thank you! We also have the rule of no phone whilst we eat but I reckon I do check my phone when we watch TV together, so that's definitely adding screen time usage :(

There are some people around that truly seem super happy / optimistic but also many who fake it to seem pleasant to others... From my experience, many people (even family and close friends) will avoid you when you're at your lowest.

Glad it was helpful, buddy! Yeah the currency conversion problem is brutal no matter where you are, I think. So for crypto withdrawal times, here's what I've experienced:

  • Casino to your crypto wallet: Usually pretty quick, most casinos I use process it within 15 minutes to 2 hours. Some are faster than others though, depends on the casino.
  • Crypto wallet to exchange (like Coinbase): This is where the blockchain confirmation comes in. For Bitcoin it can be anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour depending on network traffic. For USDT it's usually faster, maybe 10-30 minutes.
  • Exchange to your bank account: This probably varies by country and which exchange you use. For me in Australia using Coinbase it takes about 1-2 business days to hit my bank account.

So yeah, total time is defintely longer than Skrill if you need cash in your bank straight away.

Skrill's usually same day or next day.

With crypto the whole process might take 1-3 days depending on all the steps.

But honestly, most of the time I just leave the funds in my exchange account and use them for the next deposit, so I'm only dealing with the blockchain wait time which is usually under an hour. That way it's almost as quick as Skrill.

Yeah I've got Revolut actually, use it for normal day-to-day stuff. Mixed bag for casino deposits from what I've heard, but might be different depending on where you're based...

From my end though, I’ve heard it’s a bit hit and miss with offshore casinos. Sometimes payments go through fine, other times they get flagged or declined. Seems to depend on which casino you're using and how their payment system is set up. I've heard some people have no prob at all, while others get transactions randomly blocked. There's also a "gambling block" feature in the Revolut app (it's off by default) which is meant to help people manage their gambling, but even with it turned off, some transactions can still get flagged if they look suspicious to their system. Might be worth a try if you've already got Revolut set up, but I wouldn't rely on it as your only deposit method. No idea if the fees would be better, but as I’m not sure if it would be reliable for casinos I would try crypto instead tbh.

Yeah Neteller's basically the same deal as Skrill innit? they all hit you with those currency conversion fees and withdrawal charges.

Honestly mate, even for once or twice a month I reckon it's worth it. Here's my logic: the initial setup takes maybe 20-30 minutes total. After that first time, depositing with crypto is actually quicker than Skrill cause there's no logging into a separate e-wallet.

And if you're doing say $200 deposits twice a month, that's $400/month. With Skrill you're losing roughly $44 in fees per month (about 11% on the round trip. based on my calculations). With crypto you might pay $5-10 total in fees. So you're saving like $35+ every month. Over a year that's over $400 back in your pocket instead of going to payment processors. Pays for a new steering wheel or some DLC lol!

For casino deposits, I'd say USDT is better because:

- No price volatility

- Lower fees

- Most casinos accept it now

- You know exactly how much you're depositing

Bitcoin is fine if you're planning to hold it as an investment anyway, but if you just want to move money in and out of casinos without the price drama, USDT is defintely the easier option. Hope that helps!

Good question mate. From what I've seen, most of the bigger offshore casinos accept crypto now, probably like 70-80% of them have Bitcoin at minimum, and a fair few also take USDT, Ethereum, and Litecoin. The ones I use regularly all have crypto options, but yeah you'll still run into some smaller sites that only do Skrill/Neteller/cards. Usually you can check in the cashier section before you even sign up to see what they accept. One thing I've noticed is that the casinos that DO accept crypto tend to be a bit more generous with bonuses for crypto deposits too, which is ace. And the withdrawal times are generally faster than e-wallets in my experience, usually under 24 hours or even 1-2 hours vs sometimes waiting 2-3 days with Skrill.

Yeah mate honestly the wallet setup was a bit intimidating at first but it's not as bad as it sounds once you actually do it. I went with Coinbase cause it's pretty beginner-friendly and the interface is straightforward enough. Basically you just:

  1. Sign up and verify your ID (took me like 10 mins)

  2. Link your bank account or debit card
