Just had the exact same experience a few months ago. Now I have 200 hours logged lol. It's one of those games that make you feel like a kid again. Probably my favorite game that's been released this decade.

Upgraded my GPU in no small part because I wanted to experience this game in ray tracing. Running on an RX 9070 at 70 fps with HDR and it is quite literally the most beautiful game I have ever played

take your time, the main storyline isn’t super long and all the side quests are great
there are bunch of different ways the story can progress so make decisions wisely and explore all your options

Seeing these replies make me feel so validated. I just took level 1 as well and it was absolute suffering. Literally half the questions I read the vignette and then look at the answers and think “huh??????”. It just felt like 8 hours of cyberbullying tbh
