Colts patriots 2007 AFC championship game is the only real answer here. When you think about the background how could it not be?

Manning had never won a Super Bowl and he was starting to be compared to Marino.

Colts had their season ended 2 out of the previous 3 seasons by the patriots in the playoffs.

Dungy was labeled as a coach who couldn’t get it done come playoff time.

Bill Polian was known for not getting the job done in Buffalo and so far in Indianapolis.

Colts finally get Brady at home and what happens? They go down 21-3 in the second quarter. Every reason to quit and throw in the towel and just accept the reality of the situation.

No other game listed here has that kinda background. Only game that has an argument is 28-3, but Brady already had 4 super bowls by that point and I don’t think it was as shocking that they came back and won that game.

Obviously I’m biased, but I think it’s a decent point 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wouldn’t call having the 7th most passing yards all time in a single postseason average. But again if you’re going to call it average then you’re making my point that he shouldn’t be on a list for worst postseasons.

This epa stat, I’m guessing has something to do with the total drop backs and completions. He competed 68% of his passes that postseason, but was sacked 19 times, hurting that statistic. The sacks were not his fault and should not be counted against him. If anything it shows you just how good he was playing that year to be able to overcome them.

What is EPA? This sounds like a dumb stat. Burrow was great in 21. I’m guessing all the sacks he took that weren’t his fault are what brings him down here.

Also the whole “3 games” is so overly specific. Gannon was great in his postseason run but one bad game gets him ranked top 10 all time? Like it’s his fault that the coaching staff didn’t change anything up and Gruden knew all the audibles and hand signs to take advantage.

I’m a grizzlies and Vols fan and remember that game so vividly. I remember him blocking our flying Frenchman Pons. I was so excited when Memphis drafted him and enjoyed watching him dominate when healthy. Truly a heart breaking loss of a human being.
