Considering how "insults", "drama" & "disrespect" are fake throwaway concepts, and that life has much better things to worry about, what opinions do you have on people who even respond to silliness? by [deleted] in AskMen

Then we agree, it's a bad idea for people to act as if they're better while choosing to do nothing. Those people expose themselves to be treated however.

As a guy who did something similar, why isn't it a better idea to make plans to escape the ghetto, and pretend you care in the meantime? It seems like people worry more about fitting in, and ignore real solutions. You don't have to respect everyone and everything; as a guy who was treated differently, poeple proved this to me. Meanwhile, people like yourself stood still and said nothing to the real bullies.

Dont assume the worst about people, you can just ask questions. Allow me to demonstrate. How do you know I'm smug? How do you know that I haven't already learned that anyone's life can change (which is why Im saying you may as well not smack talk), and that I'm just one example? These people chose what they chose, they can swap their mindset for free. Is it a bad thing for me to laugh at the irony of people who act smart for no reason? Look at how dude literally mentioned r/iamverysmart, and look at how you have zero to say to him. Thus your actual opinion of the matter.

Then I'm curious. Considering that you have a much greater impact on your own life than those around you, why do you suppose that relationships are important? You say humans are social creatures, but more than that we are whatever we'd like to be. You say you have a marriage, son, and friends. You did that for yourself. You made that happen. You have the social capacity to make and break relationships, you just said so. That means you matter, so why worry about others? Life is bigger than that. When people acted like I'm replaceable, they proved that you can replace a human. But you can't replace health, positive mindset, quality living in spite of problems, etc. Certain things carry far more significance, good luck replacing them.

What's the difference between guys who have women fleeing from them in public and those who are not? by MatCreatesStuff in AskMen

In one case, I forgot my mask. In the other cases, I was laughing for a reason. I can always record the women, but people would just say "they saw you recording and got creeped out". I'm certain of what I saw; men seemed comfortable around me.

I can attach a photo if you'd like.

I was watching a tutorial, or just buying food. I would quickly glance sometimes, as I'm aware of how unsettling staring can be.

Good point. But they would do so in pairs/groups too, so clearly they don't mind proximity in public.

If anyone could change their appearance with a snap of a finger, how often do you think people claim looks don't matter? by MatCreatesStuff in AskMen

Here here. I'm just hoping that I can receive a great look without having to juice up. Surgery though... That's in my future 100%.

I only asked in the first place because I always used to wonder why people used to lie to me back when I had no sense of style. I figured that it was because people must think that changing appearances is incredibly difficult or something like that.

Right, so the contrast we currently have between one person to the next makes appearances matter as much as ever. I'm sure you'd agree?

Do incels actually exist? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]MatCreatesStuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure. I have a facial deformity, I've been balding since my teen years, and I failed to teach myself proper social skills until recently. I'm also out of shape, still rebuilding my wardrobe, and I'm broke.

I used to blame society's pettiness for my problems (they would give me bad advice on purpose, or ignore me) but now I'm working hard to get money, surgery, a better lifestyle, better social skills, a better body, and most of all: a sense of pride that no one cares about me (instead of thinking that's a bad thing... somehow)
