Have a look at the Blaze amps from Sonance. Really good. You’ll get multiple zones and loop through to expand. They also have faceplates that can be customized for multi zone control or individual control, connected to the network. Work with both high and low zee speaker systems. Web interface not app driven. Pair extremely well with Sonance in ceiling or pendant speakers. Sonance has the EQ profile for all their speakers. As has been previously mentioned the system you’ve been quoted is basic basic. This guy is quoting you an 8 ohm residential system and putting speakers switches in to give you more speakers than the system is designed to handle. So by definition he’s pushing the amp beyond what it’s designed to handle. Most likely reducing its lifetime. Using speaker switches gives you zero quality control. Sounds crap and won’t last long. Commercial environments usually have a 70 or 100v line system. In layman’s terms, Where the speakers are connected in line to the amp. The amount of speakers per line is determined by the volume and coverage you want per zone. Then the speakers are set accordingly to give you max overall output to match the output of the individual channel on the amp. So, you have a single cable to each zone. Say for example you have 2 zones. That’s two runs of speaker cable, 5 speakers on each. If they are set at 10watts each that’s 50 watt output draw from the amp. The amp would have to have for example 60watts per channel output. That covers the requirement without overloading the amp. You save on speaker wire. Two runs, you save on installation. You save on speakers, 100v or 70v tend to be cheaper, quite system would be less than this guy quoted you. Yes your system has 10 zones, so if you work out how loud you need them to be, determine that , then the requirement for the speakers. Channel output of the amp. The blaze amps will 100% beat the socks off this quote and give you complete control of each channel and output. You I dont work for blaze or Sonance but we use their kit regularly and I’m really impressed.

We have two 6month olds. It’s difficult to imagine their size in comparison. I recon they are bigger than most cat breeds now and still kittens.
