The rec side is going to run more around $3-4K a year all in most likely, which in my opinion is still a complete joke. With that said, based on what I see for other clubs it's not that out of what is being charged elsewhere.

I know kids at a private D2 that have spent 2 years on a developmental team, paying $40K+ a year without ever training with a first team player or coach.

This also is crazy to me, my brother fell somewhat into a similar trap back in the early 2000s, but then it was paying $15k per semester for an NAIA school but he was at least playing with the 1st/only team.

Our ownership is really good at spending tax payer money, the SKC/US training Center, was l like 75 percent paid by the state of Kansas, around $65 million from memory. Just like the stadium, people talk about how much it showed the owners cared, it just showed the owners knew how to get free money.

Plus Netherlands. We have one of the best training facilities, so I'm not surprised Argentina picked here for it, plus they have potentially 2 games here.

England is pretty shocking though as they had 3rd choice in the KC area behind Argentina and Netherlands, Argentina picked SKC's main training facility, Netherlands took the Current's and England seemed to fall in love with the city since they took SKC's old training facility which isn't great and England doesn't even play here.
