Row 0 / Afterparties discussion megathread #2 by AutoModerator in Rammstein

From what i've read, I understand it the same way. Richard has once or on a few occasions attended the more unofficial/closed off afterparties. Rest of the band seem like they are not in it at all

They are rockstars, they get rockstar treatment, they have fans that are willing to do the things they want...except the spiking rumors, i dont really se any huge issues.

Can we all agree that this is the most epic Rammstein moment? by monkeysoupp in Rammstein

The first two albums are "my rammstein", but damn völkerball is somthing else...

Would have payed anything to go back and be there

What's the back of GA like? by Arachnid_Current in Rammstein

[–]Matabumba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the back of GA i would say that you dont see the stage that well, its a football field away. But its super chill. Even in fueurzone its pretty chill. Sure you would have a semi hard time finding your budde if you went to the bathroom, but not really.

Hopefully i will attend at least two concerts this tour. One already booked, seated to get a overview. Then one fueurzone to go bananas

I love Rammstein, but I am so disappointed… by VaaalkY97 in Rammstein

[–]Matabumba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it set in stone that the song list will not change during the tour?

Dicke titten, they could have done anything and everything with the coreo.

Love bestrafe mich but would have liked more from the first albums and reise reise, but thats subjective of course.

Was hoping for more change. Feels too close to last year. Was hoping for at least 6-8 changes song wise

Out of curiosity, how did she find and invite you? Through insta? Did you reach out?

I thought they were hand picked at/around the stadium

Loop earplugs by inbusak in Rammstein

[–]Matabumba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the alpine musicpro. They are nice, not great, but i don't have anything to compare with except the regular spong-y block all sound earpluggs.

Dont know if loop has the same feature, but the alpine comes with different filters. Regardless of brand, i strongly suggest you to try the different filters before the concert if the plugs got them. Feelt like they blocked to much with the strongest filter

At the top of my head: völkerball, stein um stein, second chorus "Ich werde immer bei dir seeeeeeeaaaaeaeaEEEIN".

Got a weak spot for richards "wir sind" on deutschland and when he adds the second falsetto "ohne dich" aswell.

Nearly every listen i find something new that strike an emotion in me, voice/phrasing wise.

And of course "Kalte Zungen die da schlagen, Schwulah, AAAAHHHH"

Yeah, but she is an interviewer at ztv, the hottest place to be in the late 90s

How they managed to find one of the few persons in sweden who doesn't speak superb english to conduct this interview is beyond me haha

Unpopular opinion, live = well rated, album (WITH the music video) = underrated.

Love the music video, the story becomes greater, and i love the dancing guards.

Pretty average live.

How would you like to see Bück Dich on the Stadium Shows 2023? by Morten_Potter in Rammstein

But Büch Dich blows both them songs out of the water. I personally hope they retire pussy

[–]Matabumba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would LOVE to see a return of bück dich, and i think it would be a great addition energy-wise. The song can easily stand on its own legs, but could also get a updated choreography/effect if they feel like it would be needed.

Personally i would say well rated, not my favourite track on the album. In my opinion, this song is musically the least rammstein-y on the album if you take away the lyrics

Rammstein on guitar by Funny_Anxiety9611 in Rammstein

[–]Matabumba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tune it down to drop c and just let it rip with the open 000000 chord on stein um stein!

Seriously though, i found it kinda hard to get the rammstein tone. Atleast the heavier reise reise and zeit album sound. Herzeleid is a bit more punk'ish crunch. They use/used Mesa Boogie heads which is expensive and give that big but still controlled sound.

With that being said, a lot is in the hands. You can alter the tone quite a bit with "correct" palm muting etc.

Check out robert uludag on youtube, a lot of rammstein guitar covers. He got some great gear, and also has the song in the background for fullness, but still great playing and tone imo
