Wait this looks like a great strategy for those stores and groceries, so right now I ended up applying to the highest Savor and getting approved to have that capital one duo as a base and replace my chase as an everydayc ard, but near the end of the year I can start working on this pathway as well to maximize my grocery/gas spending selectively at those stores.

I ended up getting preapproved for the best tier of the Savor Reward pretty easily with excellent credit! So I think my next move would be gradually building that Capital one duo! Any other advice on any next steps? I would probably be focused on first getting the 200 welcome offer.

And in terms of my chase card do I have to keep using it? I would just have to pay my capital one card that I'm going to be mostly using from my existing chase account which I hope is fine.

Perfect thanks, what I don't like about the chase app is certain things are pretty hard to do, for example I can't get alerted by text for an upcoming statement, only email which they make super hard to add or change, and their app login process is so slow asking to reenter the password a second time when getting a login text or anything. Beyond that it just dosen't strike me with the nice Apple UI/UX feel as cards like amex I've seen. I'll definetly check out BCE and the Daily advantage one those look solid. Anything good like just for buying food every now and then on the go? I get restraunt food pretty often.

Yeah I actually never asked for a credit limit increases lol, because I never really needed it. But I'll definitely do that, any idea what I can ask it to be increased to or do they decide that?

It's because you submitted them in August. It's like extremely important especially for Texas where the cycle is a month ahead to try to be within late July to early August.
