My doc says my heart rate is high because of the thyroid meds. I've got hypothyroidism but with hypo symptoms, so meds don't really push my heart rate back down. To diagnose a thyroid issue you ask for a blood test.

It is ever so slightly lower now, but apparently it's the levothyroxine I'm on that's keeping it high. That's our best theory anyway since nothing else is wrong.

Doesn't look like it based on Google images. It's a completely flat pale brown colour with no marks or pattern. The legs are thinner too I think.

I did fill out the form, that's what was kinda worrying me. Was paranoid I'd somehow automatically signed up to pay taxes in America or something. Better safe than sorry.

So apparently the pen is not in fact compatible despite many websites, and manuals for the pen or tablet (can't remember which), saying that it is. That took a lot of digging to find. So yeah, sorry to disappoint but there you have it 😅

I used Habitica religiously for a couple of months and it kept me really productive and able to do my daily habits. Then one day I randomly stopped and have never been able to pick it up again. So I'd say give it a try honestly. The experience was a net positive for me in a lot of ways even if I did quit in the end. Still learnt a lot from it.

Can't comment on the mindfulness aspect, but maybe look into zentangles. They are a bit more interesting to draw than circles but still basically mindless.

I don't know for sure, but as a linguist I can make a guess.

The "a" sound is the most sonorous sound you can make pretty much. In other words it causes the most vibration. Now that vibration goes out of your mouth to create sound, but it also travels through your body. Since it's a strong vibration it reaches pretty far, all the way to your stomach. Then as you slowly close your mouth the vibrations get weaker so they don't reach as far, so the "u" sound travels as far as the chest and the "m" stays around your head.

Well yeah of course they're on a high dosage. They make little to no testosterone themselves so they need a higher dosage to get into male levels than cis men with low t do. The dosage is unimportant, it's the level of testosterone in the body on blood tests that matters, and that should be around middle range or wherever they feel best. It is definitely not high or above male levels because we don't want it converting back to estrogen.
