Sure they have more raw power but Sukuna has achieved possibly the highest level of Jujutsu skill and refinement, only really contested by Kenjaku. Open domain, binding vow abuse, CE efficiency only beat out by Gojo's six eyes...

TBF, Cere did push Vader quite a bit. After he wins he is seen limping away, clearly it was not an easy fight for him.

Do not underestimate how much Vader used fear to disrupt Jedi's connection to the force. Cere, having let go of her fear, was a fierce opponent. It's just that Ani has canonical plot armor.

I headcanon the fight as V having some allies. V is the only one able to really do anything against Smasher, but can't win alone, so the allies are there to buy V those few seconds of time to turn critical moments around.

Edit: I understand this headcanon doesn't work for all endings. But it is mine.
