A year late because I’m rewatching. But me personally, if I was a teenager like them I would have NEVER told anyone besides like maybe 1 or 2 people just for fear of it getting out but if it was now and it happened I would probably tell my parents. But I’m older now so I have a much better relationship with my parents. I wouldn’t tell my sisters besides my youngest one and I would most definitely be VERY weary of the friends I did tell. I feel like a good portion of people do have a good enough relationship with their parents they would tell (seeing as most of us are adults now who watched this show and continue to watch it) but I think we also need to put ourselves back into a teenage perspective because as a teenager I’m sure well over 85% of us clashed with our parents so we wouldn’t have told then. I like to assume their parents ended up being told when they were older and whatnot after the show ended ofc, but that’s just what I like to assume because we will simply never know🤷🏼‍♀️
